Corralejo Vera House

Good location. Second floor with balcony in the sun. Pool view. Close to shops bars and restaurants.

I have stayed in this apartment block, Corralejo Sun many many times but this time the apartment and utilities were quite basic. The apartment could do with a deep clean. The bed/mattress was not very comfortable. There was only a very small old fashion TV (not smart TV) and no washing machine. No real toiletries or cleaning materials available.

It was very clean, comfortable and modern. There was everything we needed eg. Iron and ironing board, hairdryer etc. The outdoor areas were cleaned every day plus the pool. The bed was comfortable. It was private and not really overlooked. There were plenty of cooking pots, plates, dishes and cutlery. It’s in between 2 supermarkets and there are nice nearby coffee shops but not really bars for evening time. There is loads of parking at the back on spare land, very close. Also, at the back, a nice restaurant. All the people staying there were friendly. Some were there for weeks as the price is very reasonable.

The key to our apartment was difficult to use and sometimes the key to get in from the street. There were 31 steps up to our apartment so we would prefer a ground level one. For us the property is too far from the Main Street ,only a 10 minute walk, but uphill coming back then the 31 steps. Too much for us at 73 and 76! We couldn’t work the safe and there were no instructions. There was a fan but I don’t think there was air conditioning however, as it was February, this wasn’t a problem. The staff on reception were pleasant but didn’t speak any English so it was difficult to ask about things.

This apartment is in a nice, clean condition and located in a fairly modern, secure block. The main seating area is of a fair medium size with a small kitchen in the corner which is ok for knocking up a nice breakfast or a small meal. The bedroom is a reasonable size with a comfortable bed, adequate storage space and a good fan that cools you down + Black out curtains. The bathroom is very modern and has a walk in shower, a large mirror and large sink. The balcony is quite nice with a fair amount of sun during the day. The pool was cleaned daily and looked good but was far to cold in Jan (well for me!). All the communal areas/garden’s are very well kept as is the reception area which has a friendly guard who works the evening’s. The TV is a good size and has HDMI input’s for any device’s etc, WI-FI in the apartment is excellent. The Apartment is around a 8 minute walk down to the main strip with restaurants, bar’s etc and 10 minutes to the square. It’s also around a 13 minute walk from the small town beach. There is a large Spar very close (4 minutes) or an even better (bigger Super Dino) a further 2/3 minutes on, that has absolutely everything you need and at very good prices… The bus stops are very close by (No 6) going to the dune’s, Puerto del Rosario town with many shop’s etc and another bus that takes you to to the west part of the island which is very Tranquil, calm and relaxing. The host who greeted me was called Stefano and was very friendly and professional. I would recommend this apartment for a stay if in Corralejo 🙂 If this review was helpful please tick the below ⬇️

Most thing here are great 😌. If I had to be picky I would maybe suggest the following small comment’s to the owner: 1. Cushions needed on the outside seat’s. 2. More hot water needed, Not enough hot water for two medium showers. 3. Hairdryer may need upgrading soon as cuts out quite a lot when using.
