Comfortable couch and recliner/rocker. Nice porch. Cozy and warm. Nice that the TV could swivel to a different angle for better viewing if sitting in the recliner or elsewhere. Fireplace. Beautiful cabin with vaulted ceiling. Fire pit and BBQ. Nice and fast hot water. All the essential dishware and utensils in kitchen including coffee and tea plus sugar and creamer. Plenty of lighting. Nice welcome/info folder with sightseeing and restaurant options. Friendly, cute critters visiting the property or seen or heard nearby (House Wren, Squirrels, Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers, Turkey Vultures, Robins, Chickadees, etc.). Also, though it was early Spring when I visited, I could see lots of pretty flowers that will be growing near the porch come Summer (ie Bleeding Hearts will be lovely). Loved the big, beautiful boulders and the way the deck was cut around them. Very cool!
Trains and their sirens regularly going back and forth in very close proximity to the cabin kept me awake several nights. Bathroom needs more than one single plug outlet. Kitchen was a little grubby (gritty, sticky kitchen counter) and dirty LR floor. Large broken shard of glass from previously broken window pane on BR floor. Several lamps and outlets were unplugged upon arrival. TV remote is missing battery compartment panel so batteries had to be found and loaded to use. Coffee machine, at least when using “Brew now” option, was VERY slow. Window shades on front doors do not fully rewind so visitor cannot get full sunlight there. Decor (animal hides and skull, fishing, hunting signs and equipment, etc) was awesome if you are a fisherman or hunter but not for a vegetarian, birdwatching animal lover. Lol. The Western and Native American decor was cool though! Pretty colors and patterns.

We cooked our own breakfasts. There were plenty of cooking resources. We did not use the outdoor grill, but rather ate our lunches and suppers in local restaurants which were very good. We appreciated the cleanliness of the cabin. The hosts communicated what we needed to know. We chose the cabin for a long weekend getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was a cozy, comfortable place.
The website listed the property as having a river view. There was no river view. There is a railroad track across the road with trains running several times a day including sometimes at night and they blow their horns because of a road crossing. Not too bad, but just something to be aware of. The beds were comfy, but too small and short. I'm 6 foot tall and my feet hung over the bed. The head of all the beds are against the slope of the roof and you had to be careful when getting up or adjusting positions at night. I would suggest they purchase queen size beds.
