Tra le Torri

Many thanks to Corrado for a very pleasant stay in his lovely apartment in Tarquinia. He was incredibly helpful and offered assistance and advice unprompted. He even helped us when we had problems with our car's air conditioning and accompanied us to the garage. This was much appreciated. The apartment is stylishly and thoughtfully decorated, well looked after, and clean. There was plenty of space for our family of four. A particular highlight was the beautiful view from the rooftop terrace. The apartment's central location is perfect for long and short trips, with multiple good restaurants only minutes away. We were also very glad about the well-functioning air conditioning inside the apartment, as it was a heatwave, and it meant that we could stay cool during the hottest hours of the day. Tarquinia is a charming town — think San Gimignano, but without the overtourism. The people here are extremely nice. It’s also very close to Rome by train (1.5 hours), which made day trips there very easy. We also went to the Sacred Woods of Bonmarzo, Civita di Bagnoregio, Villa Lante and Viterbo, all of which we would highly recommend. It takes about 10 minutes by car to get to the beach, where there are many 'bagni' and also free beaches. We recommend Bagno Il Porticciolo for its very friendly owner. Corrado is an excellent host, leaving little more to be desired. We are glad to have made his acquaintance.

This experienced far exceeded expectations due to our host’s over-the-top kindness, professionalism, and sincere desire to be certain everything went well. The property is very nice and in absolutely the prime location. Simply perfect time in all aspects.

First, our host, Corrado, was very helpful in getting us settled and comfortable in his beautiful apartment. He offered recommendation and even made reservations for us. Utterly charming. The property is beautiful, having been completely renovated very recently. There is even a a large rooftop balcony. The location is perfect- on a small, narrow streett in the historic part of the medieval town. Easy walk to the museum (don't miss it), restaurants and cafes. Tarquinia was the center of the Etruscan culture and it still feels like that part of history is still alive. If you want to experience a stay in a small historic Italian town in a beautiful apartment with a fascinating history - o highly recommend Tra le Torri.
