Waters Reach

The property is nice and quite big and very central to go into town. Walked to Morrisons and Tesco Like the area outside with tables and chairs plus two lawn chairs to lay out. Easy to fine. Having a designated parking spot is great, just make sure your at the right garage 61. Nice touch of leaving fresh milk and some potatoe chips (crisps) and water upon arriving. Defintely would stay again.

Think it needs a little refreshing here and there inside. The place is really nice plus layout. Had a little problem with lockbox. Have to press both sides of lockbox so that it will open. Otherwise, easy to get in . There are quite few of stairs to get to the flat but just have to be aware. We were aware before booking. Definitely would stay again.

The property was as described & even beyond expectations. Inside it looked immaculate & there were a lot of ‘extras’ which enhanced the guests stay. The garden was very sheltered & pleasant to sit in and parking was an advantage. It was close to all local amenities which were within a few minutes walk.

The steps leading up to the property!! As two 70 year olds, with minor disabilities, we would not have chosen this property if we had been aware of the 34 step, challenging access. This was not transparent in the property description. Access could be a problem for disabled guests or those with young children.

Lovely comfortable 3 double rooms and large family bathroom. Exceptionally clean with everything we required including washing up equipment. Cleaning sprays and cloths aplenty to tidy up during stay. Smart tv so able to login to netflix etc. Some board games and cards available to play if you decided to stay in. There were storage heaters but also other electric heaters if you needed a temperature boost. Instructions for everything left in a folder was great as instructions for everything from heaters to television to cooker. It's about 5 minute walk into town from the apartment. Kingsbridge is a small town with a few pubs shops and takeaways. Thriving high street with bakers and butchers and fish shop all looking like they are doing a great trade. A great base for accessing other Devonshire towns and villages . There's a good bus service going to Totnes and Plymouth. Lots of beaches nearby too. The property is on a steep hill and there are about 30 steps up to the property so bare this in mind . Even my fit kids complained about achey calves but that just seems to come with visiting Devon .

The water was on a water tank, so we just stuck to having a shower and not baths. But that's just our preference. No chairs to enjoy the outside space. There is a table, so maybe the owners just have not got chairs out for the season yet, but we had some nice weather, so it would have been nice to sit out. We had our camping chairs with us, so we used them.

Location ideal and very cosy

The walls are a little thin so you hear the person in the room next to you but nothing to much of an issue.
