SPITIKARIOTIKO My Ikarian home

Hi David this is my review of our stay. Please feel free to alter as required! I have forgotten the name of the place, think it’s ‘my Ikarian home’ The accommodation is a spacious two bedroom apartment very close to the lovely village of Polykarpos. The apartment is spotless and has a well equipped kitchen and washing facilities. There is a lovely garden area to sit in with fabulous views down to the sea. The friendliness of the host, Anne Marie is nothing short of exceptional. She has a wealth of knowledge of the local area and nothing was too much trouble in making our stay enjoyable. The location is great being in a quiet peaceful area but within a two minute walk of the small but well stocked supermarket and local restaurants. We would highly recommend …..

That we couldn’t stay longer !

The location of the rooms is great for someone who wants to enjoy good food and nightlife with many options at close proximity. The room was clean and well-equipped and it had a wonderful little garden in the front with an outside table where we could enjoy a morning coffee/ afternoon drink with a seaview. Highlight of our stay was our super friendly hostess, Mariana who welcomed us warmly (held cold beers in the fridge to treat us), was there for anything we might need, informed us of many wonderful places or events in the island and gave us jars of local honey as a departure gift!
