Curtains and better lighting in the lounge would make it much more pleasant. The bathroom is a bit grim Keybox down by the floor is a nightmare - especially after a night on the Toon

Comfortable beds and cosy heating. Spacious lounge, with comfy sofas. Easy access and good communication with host. Clean and tidy throughout.

Water not draining in washbasin, flickering light fitting in one bedroom, door fallen off the tumble dryer, toilet seat had to be fixed by hubby. Kitchen equipment old and grubby. Badly kept front garden and back yard had rubbish in it.

So clean. Great location and host was on hand to answer any questions

Location was handy for visiting the city centre and university. Nice park nearby. Free, On street parking was really useful as a lot of other areas are chargeable

The keysafe was in an awkward place to get to. The single mattress should be replaced as it is not fit for sleeping on- dirty and sunken in the centre. A few touches which have been mentioned in other reviews but still not rectified, should be sorted as they are small but make a big difference, such as a toilet roll holder, and a curtain for the living room. Quite loud at the weekend with upstairs residents and street noise. There's a small yard at the back, I think it is shared with upstairs residents
