My stay in Nicosia couldn't have been better without the warmth and hospitality I received from the host. The flat accommodates a person (it has a single bed) and has everything needed for a short/medium stay in the capital city. I had the chance to share some design feedback with the host and he was eager to listen to my suggestions and discuss improvements for the future. His attitude showed a real interest in welcoming guests and making them feel at home. During my stay in early autumn, I did not have any issues in the flat or in the neighborhood, in this time of the year the place is not a tourist area at all and that made me appreciate the silence and coziness of daily life - the area used to be a monastery, and the houses along the streets show their year of construction even dating to the late 1800s! Nearby there are churches and a community center, a bit further you may find shops and restaurants in a just 5-minute walk. The city center is not far away, it can be reached easily by walking or calling a taxi. The night before leaving I had a wonderful conversation with the host, he showed me other premises he personally renovated and shared the history of Cyprus with me. It was the exact quality time I wish every guest could experience abroad. I do recommend renting this flat and exploring Nicosia!
