The owner was very helpful and met me at the bus station to bring me to the apartment about 5 minutes away and give me the keys. The two bedroom apartment on the first floor was very spacious and light Comfortable bed with lots of storage space Extremely central location

Every time I went in or out, either the owner or his wife who live on the ground floor, suddenly appeared. It was as if everything I was doing was being monitored which was a very unpleasant feeling. One on occasion I was outside the large metal gate to the property about to use the key to open it when the owner was suddenly there and opened the gate from the inside. I don't know if there is a surveillance camera outside but it was an uncomfortable experience. Although the apartment is large, there were several defects such a kitchen with loads of cupboards but nothing in them There was not even an electric kettle to heat water. The bathroom was poorly lit making shaving difficult. Communications were done though WhatsApp with the owner's son in Italy as the owner and his wife don't speak English. This is not ideal

Close to centre, friendly people, huge apartment that was good value.

Located in the heart of Shkodra just around the corner from the main old centre. Free parking. The hospitality of Roberto's parents was wonderful. No English but we managed.
