Lovely house situated in a residential area. Hot tub great addition and garden is lovely (shame we didn't have the weather)

Parking wasn't great as it's on road and after going out every day there was never a space. However we parked on the church opposite which worked ok

Quiet location

Ease of access through extremely heavy gate to get keys.

The property is beautiful. Gorgeous inside, clean, cosy and the hot tub is amazing. The Christmas decorations, little food hamper and heating being on when I arrived were a lovely touch. I really had the most lovely getaway there for a few days. Thank you.

I had one niggle. This is the only single thing I have to mention, but I do think it worth mentioning in case others are in a similar position and would have the same feelings/concerns as me. The hot tub (which is fantastic) is located on the back patio. There is a large side gate on the property which leads from the street directly onto the back patio via a short alleyway. Unfortunately this gate does not close properly and has to stay significantly ajar at all times. As I was staying at the property alone (and I’m a single woman) I did feel on edge when I was using the hot tub in the back yard during the evenings. Whilst I realise it’s unlikely, the fact the gate didn’t close (and I would have preferred locking as well as closing) I felt a bit unsafe as a single woman alone with direct, unimpeded access from the street in the dark evenings. I’m sure anyone staying with a partner or in a group wouldn’t have this concern. Or even a single man. But it was a bit scary for me.

All the thoughtful gestures like the basket of treats, the care and attention of the hot tub, the easy to follow instructions.

Not your fault so don't be hurt, just the parking, mostly fine but a challenge to park two cars, and family members have mobility issues.
