We had an excellent stay at DOMITYS L’ESTAMPE and would happily stay here again.
The accommodation was spotless, peaceful, and very comfortable. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean, with a lovely bathroom, a great shower, and a handy kitchenette that was perfect for preparing simple meals. There was also plenty of easy parking, and all of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
The location is excellent too – around a 10–15 minute walk into the town centre, with a SPAR supermarket just a few minutes away, making it easy to pick up groceries or fresh food.
One thing worth being aware of before booking is that the property is part of a retirement residence. We hadn’t realised this beforehand, but it didn’t detract from our stay at all. If anything, it meant the atmosphere was exceptionally quiet and relaxing, and we enjoyed a fantastic night’s sleep.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for clean, comfortable, well-located accommodation in Romans-sur-Isère.
There wasn’t really anything we disliked. The only thing worth noting is that the property is part of a retirement residence, which we hadn’t realised before booking. However, this didn’t affect our stay and actually made for a very peaceful, quiet atmosphere.

Een ruim en gezellig appartement met alles erop en eraan, incl. balkon, in een vrij nieuw (senioren)complex dat zeer rustig gelegen is. Het oude centrum is op loopafstand, evenals restaurants en winkels..... en natuurlijk het schoenenmuseum! Je kunt na reservering veilig parkeren op het terrein. Aardig personeel. Het blijft een leuke formule dat een seniorencomplex ook aan toeristen verhuurt. Als je een beetje Frans spreekt heb je soms leuke gesprekken met bewoners die veel van de stad en de omgeving weten. De prijs-kwaliteitverhouding van dit soort complexen vinden wij fantastisch, zeker gezien de ruimte en de faciliteiten, maar verwacht geen hotel.
Niks. Er was geen ontbijtfaciliteit en je kunt ook niet uitgebreid koken, maar dat wisten we van tevoren en was voor ons geen enkel probleem..

Le personnel est attentif et souriant. La propreté et le confort de la literie. Le parking à proximité (ne fait pas partie de L'Estampe), la tranquillité. La piscine et la salle de sport. Sécurité.
Un peu spartiate pour l'ameublement. J'ai connu mieux à Domitys Agde et Carcassonne. Vaisselle limitée (casserole et poêle par exemple).
