Comfortable & amazingly close to the Angel inn hotel which had excellent food

The property was clean and tidy and in a fabulous location. the sofas were very comfortable.

To eat at the dining table required moving furniture about. The electric shower was virtually unusable as the shower head was blocked with limescale and poor jets. TV remotes didn’t always operate.

Beautiful, cosy cottage, directly opposite a great, dog friendly pub (The Angel Inn) which serves good food. Lovely, we’ll stocked, village shop is just a minute or two down the road. We had a dog with us and there is a park with a large field a little further along from the shop, which was handy for morning and evening walks. The churchyard next door is adorable! Pretty, little village, close to Southwold and Denes beach (dog friendly).

Had lots of problems booking because the company didn’t seem to accept any foreign credit cards (I didn’t have a UK one). Also, the booking.com messaging service seemed to have problems because I kept getting blank messages from the cottage. Luckily, I had a hunch that the booking hadn’t gone through so I called them at Suffolk Secrets, and although they were very helpful and friendly, I was on the phone from Germany for about 45 mins which cost a fortune. None of my German cards worked when I tried to pay over the phone and instead I had to use one belonging to a family member in UK. I do hope they address the international payment problem.
