The Atholls in Melrose

We had a great stay. The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Everything was well-organized, and we really enjoyed our time there. We would gladly stay here again.

On the day my apartment was serviced, I returned at approximately 23:30 after a long day of refereeing at the All Africa Snooker Championships at the Wanderers Club. I had been on my feet all day, and my legs and feet were extremely sore. When I arrived, I was unable to access the property. The security guard, who knew me, informed me that he was not authorised to let me in. Instead, I was instructed to park my car on the street, walk to my apartment to collect the keys from the key safe at the door, then walk back to my car before using my own remote to gain access through the security gate and drive to my apartment. After such a long and physically demanding day, I found this process unnecessary and very frustrating, particularly as the security guard recognised me but was still unable to assist me with access to the property.

Very clean and neat. And also a safe quiet space. Perfect for staycation. Host was also helpful and gave clear instructions for checking. Everything you need for staying over is available pots and all

Enjoyed the privacy and comfort. Layout of unit perfect for self catering and a home away from home.

Check in was a bit problematic. Could mot get hold of the hosts for entry. Eventually security let me in to the complex.
