About this house rental
The cottage is located in the countryside but just 2 km from a village with many shops (bakery, pharmacy, butcher shop, bar/tobacco shop). It is completely separate from the main house.
It has 5 bedrooms (with high-quality bedding) and 2 bathrooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped.
The living room is comfortable and features a wood-burning stove in the fireplace.
The patio opens onto the tree-lined garden and a private heated outdoor pool (3m x 9m).
Bicycles are available to borrow.

The Cottage is located next to the Manor and is currently used as a summer rental property. With 5 bedrooms, it makes a perfect caretaker’s residence or an additional home for extended family. Behind the Cottage, the private landscaped gardens with mature shrubs open onto a hedge-lined, enclosed grassy paddock and a tree-lined field with two gated entrances.
From the front driveway and courtyard, the main door opens into the kitchen on the first floor. A fully equipped and spacious room, it features a back door that leads to a terrace with an outdoor heated swimming pool (3m x 9m), an al fresco dining area with an awning, and a children’s play area.
A family bathroom and separate restroom are located on the first floor, next to a large bedroom with stone flooring and a private entrance.
The large living room features an original stone fireplace and hearth, wooden beams, and large windows facing the front and back. A staircase leads up to the first floor.

A master bedroom with wooden beams and views to the front and back, featuring an en suite bathroom and a small adjoining bedroom perfect for babies or small children.

Very nice place to stay if you need a good rest. No noise at all. Big garden, nice pool. Not very much to see in neighbourhood, but ideal for walking. Bathroom needs make over. Beds too small for tall people. Very friendly host. Garden furniture quite old.

Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour au Logis à Sainte Marguerite de Carrouges! Le site est vraiment magnifique et le gîte est parfait! L'accueil par Xavier y fut très chaleureux et sa présence discrète et charmante a largement contribué à la réussite de nos vacances!
