A Seafront Home away from home

I liked watching the water view changing through the day. It had all facilities for cooking, washing, heating, cable tv., towels, soap. I saw beach equipment to our disposel as well. Bus stops behind the house. Quiet area, not tourist area. For me it was a plus, as all hotels are uphill, further from water.

It was like a temporary home. My partner expected hotel new furniture. I liked it as it was with old furniture, because it has the design of a regular home with colorful nicknacks.

Beautiful view from the balcony! Location is very good. Close to stop buses. Quiet and large apartment. Good WiFi. Helpful owner. He responds quickly to messages.

The apartment should be cleaner.

The view from the window/balcony is just stunning. It is a quiet place. There were everything we needed. Bus stops nearby.

Needs a little bit updating.

The uninterrupted view of the bay is amazing from morning to night, always something to watch. Good wifi as hubby had to do an interview online with Australia. The owner was quick to reply to messages. Use of washing machine Quiet area, neighbours as well. Loved the area of St Paul’s it had everything we needed and the work they are doing outside apartment across the road is beautiful and will be a great asset in the future

Sorry to the owner but multiple issues with this property. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. Maybe make it clear on site re the stairs with property being on 3rd floor. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows were past sell by date. We had to strip bed next morning and wash ( weird smell of BO) The apartment looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned after someone had stayed there or lived there. Moved the mat in bathroom an outline of the mat with dirt on floor. The floors were dirty especially round edges ( lots of gross hairs) The floor tiles were streaked right not shiny like they were meant to be. The shower was uninviting, mould, rust. Hot water not attached to heating system had to boil kettle for hot water to do dishes. Aircon - Thanks for having no batteries in controller every time we needed to use it we had to remove batteries from tv controller and place in aircon controller. Actually you need a new controller as the spring that holds battery has had it. No ironing board or iron as stated on list of facilities, thanks for supplying one so quick when asked. Really I wouldn’t have bothered the mould on the fabric was off putting. Most disappointed with the presentation of this apartment for the money I paid for 8 nights. This does not live up to its title of home from home. It has taken me weeks to write review and over travel of 6 weeks, Ireland, Scotland and Netherlands this was the most upset I have been with my choices. I know it’s possible to charge a lot of money for property in the climate of travel post covid with so many people returning to travel. I know lots people have higher bills in their own lives and view this as income. But up the standard or reduce your price. I know the view is everything but facilities and cleanliness need to match that view.
