Location was good, quite cosy, reasonably equipped.
The fact there was no toilet tissue and the owner was no where to be found until the next day was disappointing to say the least. We chose to go in search of our own (strangely enough!) and just hoped we could find something in a town we were completely new to. I know it was just a mistake by the cleaner, but the owner seemed to be just “oh well, never mind, just cross your legs, and I’ll bring some in the morning”. Not a good response under the circumstances!

Quaint and charming
Very small outside space which contradicts the way it was advertised. There was also a strange musty, mouldy smell when you first entered the property which you could put down to the age of the building but in hindsight it was probably damp.

The property was tiny but cosy and suited us well. The kitchen was well stocked with good quality crockery, glasses etc and although we didn't cook, looked as if the cooking pans/utensils were plentiful and good.
The bed was a little hard for our preference. Although there were 2 chairs outside, it would have been good to have a table as well.

Lovely walk to Fowey. Good access to the cove. Friendly staff and neighbours.
Pet friendly.
Nice gesture to leave a box of fudge.
