De Boerenskuur..chalet..

Het was een superleuke locatie, heerlijk vrij uitzicht en dan al die dieren eromheen! Erg vriendelijke host met een nog vriendelijkere hond.

Het onderlaken van het bed zag er niet fris uit. vervangen voor een nieuw fris laken aangeraden.

Truly a little gem! We booked this stay because we wanted something near Amsterdam but quiet so we would be able to relax after a long day of walking. De Boerenskuur proved to be even better than expected. Not only is it situated in the middle of the polders/fields with no-one around but you get greeted by the most cheery and wonderful dog, Daisy. The owner is friendly and helpful. The trailer/caravan itself is not very large but it makes up for it in cosines and beautiful views around. Beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped. I won't hesitate to book this next time we want to visit the environments.

A small setback was the wifi that unfortunatly didn't work as the cable had snapped not long before we arrived. We managed with our (slow) 4g connection and well, to be honest: in a place like this you don't need internet. Just sit back, relax, enjoy the views and go hug some of the animals!

Friendly and helpful host. The location is quite remote but for us very convenient. I can imagine going from here to Beverwijk, the beach, Alkmaar, Haarlem, Zaandam and Amsterdam. All easy to reach. There is a small petting zoo. I would avoid staying in the large caravan. Assuming the other chalets are much better.

The bedroom was too small. The bed was enclosed by walls and a cabinet up to 90%, so diffecult to enter. There was a larger room but the bed wasn't made. The bed was of poor quality with very little support. When it rains, and it did, there is too much noise of the rain hitting the roof. I would focus on the other chalets and put this one away. The breakfast for 20 EURO wasn't worth it.
