Basic facilities and a poorly maintained site which could be so much better because of the location

Good location near the beach

Campsite is run down and poorly maintained, toilet block is poor and showers leak out across the floor. Cleanliness of shared toilet and show block is poor. Staff have been told that mobile home caravans are not to be cleaned by them and this is to be done by guests to a high standard before they leave, no disinfectant or cleaning products are provided.

The location was good

The place was unorganised, dirty, the toilets and showers were terrible and blocked. The dustbins were not emptied and full. Staff seemed to be nowhere to be seen

Everything was there, friendly staff, small shop for the things needed most, enough space, much freedom

Apart from the beautiful nature, not so much to do in the area. The facilities were cleaned every day, but they forgot to remove the mold.

Back to nature, quiet campsite

We received a warm welcome at the campsite reception, very good English spoken. There is a small shop and you can order croissants for breakfast. The campsite is spacious and you can choose your own pitch. When we stayed there (peak holiday season) it was quiet and we had plenty of room. The site has a very "back to nature" feel, no manicured lawns, but we liked that. The facilities block has plenty of toilets, sinks and showers, they were spacious enough and were kept clean. Very quiet and peaceful location. We enjoyed our two nights there in our campervan.

The very wide beach in front of the campsite, over the dunes, had green algae.

A good value for money back to basics site

The location and setting is beautiful. The pitches are excellent value for money and the site warden is friendly and helpful.

The facilities are basic, with a number of the showers, washing up points, etc closed when we visited. The remaining facilities are centralised in the communal kitchen/lounge which includes a double sink (one tap), kettle, microwave and a range of cutlery and crockery. The pitches are spacious, but the ground is somewhat uneven and the hard.

We booked and paid for 2 nights but left after the first night. This place should ne closed and totally renovated. We have stayed in numerous camping sides in France and in other countries and never had such bad experience. When using facilities I had a feeling like I’m travelling in some undeveloped country... everything was just terrible...

The wording is abysmal on the booking.com site. It states a room, not a dry piece of grass on which to pitch a tent or park a camper van. The directions on the map are very poor indeed. The description needs to be far clearer, using the correct English eg pitch for a tent and parking for a camper van. Luckily the caretaker allowed me to stay in one of the mobile homes as I had no camping items with me.

Rien

Par où commencer… Dès notre arrivée, les mauvaises surprises se sont enchaînées. Nous sommes accueillis par deux dames peu aimables et encore moins arrangeantes. Nous avions réservé un emplacement pour une tente avec électricité – détail important pour la suite. Problème : nous sommes placés sur un emplacement prévu pour camping-car, donc avec une prise totalement différente. Aucun adaptateur prévu, aucune mention sur le site. La solution proposée ? Une location à 3 € par jour + une caution. Pour rappel, un tel adaptateur coûte environ 10 €… et nous sommes restés 7 nuits. Je vous laisse faire le calcul. Passons aux sanitaires. Là, c’est le drame. Quatre douches pour tout le camping. À l’entrée, une serpillière noire de saleté sert de tapis de bienvenue. Et petit bonus : aux toilettes, vous êtes littéralement encerclés par les douches… ce qui vous garantit un torrent d’eau tiède sur les pieds. Charmant. Après cette expérience, un petit café ? Bien sûr, à 2,50 € la tasse. Une envie de barbecue ? Comptez 5 € par jour pour la location. Et si vous voulez stocker vos aliments, le congélateur mis à disposition n’est en réalité qu’un frigo un peu fatigué. Quant à cuisiner directement depuis l’emplacement avec une plancha ou un appareil électrique, inutile d’essayer : ça disjoncte immédiatement. Normal : un seul boîtier électrique pour quatre emplacements, ça ne va pas très loin. Le summum ? Les fameuses prises. Sur le papier : 4 emplacements, 4 prises. Dans la réalité : des voisins indélicats, branchés sur notre boîtier via des rallonges interminables. Résultat, après avoir investi dans un adaptateur, impossible de nous brancher : tout était occupé. Mon compagnon va se plaindre à l’accueil. Réponse ? « Ah bah oui, d’autres se branchent alors qu’ils ne devraient pas… vous pouvez leur demander de se débrancher ? » Évidemment, il a suggéré que ce n’était pas à lui de jouer les gendarmes.

Emplacement incroyable

Superbe environnement le chalet avec frigo et congélateur est vraiment un plus. Personnel agréable et à l'écoute. sanitaires bien entretenus, Je suis très contente de mon séjour, je reviendrais si je repasse dans la région

la seule remarque que je pourrais faire c'est que les sanitaires sont peut être sous dimensionnés car un peu d'attente à certaines heures

Der Aufenthalt war angenehm und toll

Tolle Lage am mehr und Natur nah.

Die Türen und Fenster waren kaputt evtl von einem Einbruch. In einem vorherigen Email Verkehr habe ich nochmal gefragt ob Handtücher und Bettwäsche vorhanden ist, dieses wurde bestätigt. Leider mussten wir uns dann Handtücher kaufen, Bettwäsche haben wir auf Anfrage bekommen für 12euro. Schade war auch das eine Person vom Personal meinte unser Sohn darf nicht auf dem weg spielen wegen der Autos. Man darf aber nur 10km/haben auf dem Campingplatz fahren.

Peu de douches donc de l’attente, des campeurs vraiment bruyants une nuit (mais le camping n’est pas responsable de l’incivilité de certains campeurs)

Bon à dire vrai c’est pas cher pour 2 nuit emplacement sans électricité soit 40€ Mais vu le camping et les sanitaires pas terrible 4 douches et 8 toilettes en tout Du coup rapport prix sans qualité 😬 A fuir sauf si vous avez pas le choix

Ligging - dicht aan de zee, altijd zeebries(je): zalig! Het strand is niet het mooiste strand maar mooie stranden zijn nooit ver weg. Niet ver van Saint Brieuc. Leuke lokale marktjes, elke dag elders in de buurt.

Sanitair: heel basic Met velen in een sanitaire ruimte: douchen, wassen, toiletten Als het vuil was lag het niet aan te weinig poetsen maar aan de mensen die het vuil achterlieten! Het terrein mag iets verzorgder

Die Lage direkt am Meer, die freundlichen Mitarbeiterinnen, Wanderwege, geräumige einfache Unterkunft mit Terrasse und kleinem Garten, gemütliches Bett, Lebensmittel an der Reception, viele Strände in der Nähe.

Manche Hundebesitzer haben den Kot ihrer Hunde auf dem Gelände liegen gelassen. In Hillion gibt es an einigen Stränden heftige Probleme mit grünen Algen, dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts.
