About this apartment rental
A Break at the Breakers is calling! Enjoy stunning views of the ocean and
marsh all right from your spacious 1 bed, 1 bath condo, we call Pelican Perch.
Private Balcony off the master overlooks the pool and marsh area at the north
end of our island also known as Freeman Park. The Breaker's Complex has a
beautiful sparkling pool, lots of swings on site to sit and watch the pelicans
or other wildlife as they fly over the marshy area.
**Condo Layout:**
1 Bedrooms / 1 Bathrooms / Sleeps 4.
Top floor walkup unit.
Kitchen: Fully stocked with dishwasher, cookware and of course a coffee pot
and toaster!
Living Room: Couch that converts into a queen size sleeper sofa plus
flatscreen TV with cable.
2 Decks: Access condo through Deck, seating for 4 people, spectacular views of
the Ocean. Private Balcony off master bedroom with views of the Marsh.
Laundry: Stackable Washer and Dryer in Closet on Outside Master Bedroom
Balcony.
Master Bedroom: Queen size bed, closet, TV with cable, attached bath with
shower/tub combo.
Parking for 1 car: Must display parking pass given at check-in.
Condo Amenities: Pool, charcoal grills, and picnic area/swings.
**Things to do:**
Lose yourself in all the area has to offer, including paddle boating on the
nearby lake, exploring historic Fort Fisher or the local aquarium, or going to
Wilmington and seeing all that the Port City has available. Explore in the
Carolina Beach State Park, take a fishing charter out to the deep sea for the
day, or enjoy a relaxing day on the beach at Freeman Park. Sleep in or get up
early to watch the beautiful sunrises accompanied by dolphins and shrimp
boats. Every week in the summer, you have Fireworks at the Carolina Beach
Boardwalk. There's activity on The Island year-round!

The views from Pelican Perch are its best feature. You have the ocean from the front, serene marsh from the back. Easy access to the beach. The unit is cute, clean, and worked well for three of us. The pull out mattress was very thin so decided to just use the couch for one of us. Wish there were beach towels as we had to go buy our own, but not a huge deal. The location at the end of Canal St made for a quiet and private experience and still a quick drive to restaurants and entertainment. I highly recommend this rental.

Enjoyed this property very much. Very clean, quick response from rental company when we had an issue with AC, ocean view and right across from beach access. Three flights of stairs to climb but worth it for all other perks!

Our family of 4 enjoyed the weekend. Just be ready to climb some steps but over all it was a great place.

The fees are outrageous!! Check in with Palm Air (who is this?) used VRBO to get emails from VRBO and Red Awning!! Palm Air called the day before our check out date asking why we were still in the condo-the maids were there and they didn’t know we had added a day!!!
Terrible communication and very confusing to deal with 3 entities!
