Judy's Line Shack...Super cute house with a fabulous back porch view!

A LOVELY West Texas home to stay in! Beautiful view ...sunrises and sunsets! The house was filled with everything we would need. We will stay again.

I had everything I needed

This place was great. Upon our arrival, after walking inside, I have to say the place was a lot bigger and had way more room inside than we thought it was going to be, just judging from the pictures. The view from the living room windows was amazing, and the huge window was awesome. Both the sunrise and sunset views from the house were beautiful. Especially the sunrise, as soon as the sun crests the mountain in the distance, the sunlight fills the house and brightens the whole place. Really great star viewing at night as well, it gets really dark out there, and you can see the sky light up with stars. The covered parking for the car was great, since the sun got pretty bright during the day. The house was really close to McDonald Observatory, Balmorhea State Park, and Marfa, which were fun spots to visit and then come back to have a good rest at the house. The house was clean and stocked well. There was a grocery store about 5 min away and a couple of good spots to eat in town. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back one day. One note I have was from a comment that I saw from a previous guest. They said the door locks didn't work. That was not the case for us when we stayed. All the exterior doors had fully functioning locks and closed well. I think the issue was that the locks were a bit confusing at first because I had not seen that type of lock, but when I figured out how to use them, everything worked fine.
