The Appartment is amazing and with a view that takes your breath away. Interior design is beautiful and you immediately sense that Alfonso has put his heart into the place. Alfonso is so kind and helpful and we felt so welcome! We had a wonderful vacation there. We hope to come back in the near future, as we already miss the large terrasse, view and the outdoor shower :) Pontone is an amazing ancient calm village away from the hectic inferno in the beach cities. Strongly recommend hiking Valle del Ferriere, it is so beautiful. One should however be aware that from the sea side, Pontone is not so easy to access. Walking to/from ie. Amalfi is a bit challenging. Lots of steps and hills to climb. Bus goes to-from Amalfi mostly once every hour. Also to Ravello the walk takes 60-75 minuttes and you cannot take a bus directly to Ravello from Pontone, you need to go to Amalfi first, and then bus to Ravello. A car or scooter may be the solution, but be aware of the challenging roads and Italian driving style .... ;o)) Due to this location can be 7.5, but the view from the appartment is a 10! :o))

The apartment is located in a beautiful quiet village of Pontone and is tucked away from the madness of Amalfi. The apartment is absolutely amazing and is better furnished than a 5 star hotel (minus the pool). The apartment has high quality specs from furniture to decorations and appliances and honestly just feels like home away from home. The views from the apartment are "postcard perfect" as you overlook the city of Amalfi and the sea beyond. The apartment is 10 mins drive to Ravello or 15 mins to Amalfi. Having means of transport (scooter is highly recommended) is ideal as it gives you unparalleled flexibility. One can also walk down to Amalfi and that does involve taking about 1000 steps - but that is to be expected on the Amalfi coast. The apartment comes with free parking which is a blessing. I cannot say enough about our host Alfonso who is a wonderful person. He helped us throughout our trip and was always super responsive and also provided us with a welcome basket filled with food goodies. He provided us with great recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and more. He is also very well connected and was able to connect us with a local scooter rental and also an airport transfer to Naples. We highly recommend Donna Luisa Suites 19 (and Alfonso) for your stay and hope to go back and stay again.

One of the best places to stay when you visit the Amalfi Coast! The host, Alfonso, is absolutely great!! The apartment is absolutely fantastic and very clean!! The attention to details, the high-quality furniture and decorations, the color-matching throughout the apartment is absolutely amazing and really creates a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. Alfonso helped with great recommendations for places to visit, activities to do and restaurants to try out - being very well prepared with contacts and maps. He also was very kind and helped us with our luggage. We also had a welcome gift with snacks and drinks which was amazing! The views from the Donna Luisa Suites 19 are absolutely stunning, from the terrace you can see the city of Amalfi and the sea. The parking offered is a real blessing when travelling by car to the Amalfi Coast. We can only recommend Donna Luisa Suites 19 to anyone and the next time when we will be visiting Amalfi Coast we will stay here again!

So glad to have chosen this accommodation in the Amalfi Cost. The apartment is an absolute gem, it is equipped with everything you may need from kitchen appliances to bathroom toiletries and outdoor equipments (outdoor shower with hot water, deckchairs…). It is made and styled with taste and high standards. It is better than a luxury hotel! The view overlooking Amalfi is to die for. The location is perfect, Pontone is a small and quiet village walking distance to Amalfi and Ravello also well connected with buses. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without the amazing host Alfonso. He made us feel at home providing all comforts and suggestions from place to visits (not in the guide) to restaurants. These wonderful trip would stay in our memories forever thanks to the wonderful people we met and amazing places we visited. We already planning our next stay at Alfonso place, can’t wait!
