The owner was very helpful. He spoke English and anticipated my need for some food. When I visited Hodslavice the restaurants only served food at lunchtime and the shops closed at 5 and 5:30 pm. I was too late for them however the owner gave me eggs, butter, bread, coffee so I could make some dinner (and breakfast). The appartment was lovely in an old fashioned way, full of character.
Not any restaurants open in village in evenings. Had trouble getting temperature of shower right, maybe I should have had a bath...
