Happy Valley Home + Hot Tub, Game Room, 8 beds!

Excellent room and layout. Had large family and all were comfortable. Very minor issue was the Internet dropped every two to three hours. But that did not detract from the perfect stay for us.

Overall, this house was unacceptable. I have stayed at many vacation rental properties and this was definitely the worst. The level of cleanliness was terrible - I took out a knife to use and it was caked with something, I opened the drawer to find a pot holder and they were covered with old dried food, there were ants all over the walls and floor of the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms as well as 2 of the bedrooms. The property manager clearly knows about this issue as there is ant spray in the garage. The situation got worse day by day....by the time we left on the 3rd day there sere so many of them. The garbages outside were already full when we arrived on Thursday evening, so we had a hard time even getting our one bag of garbage in. My daughter was playing on the floor and noticed that there were candy wrappers and old pieces of food under the living room furniture. She also found some socks in the couch....they were not ours. Overlal just seems the cleaning is not happening. If this basic cleaning isn't happening, I don't know what they are doing with our high cleaning fee. Upon arrival to the home, we put in the door code as instructed and to our surprise, the alarm started going off. There was nothing in our check in instructions that mentioned an alarm being armed and how to turn it off. There was no tv remote in the living room, so we had to share a remote between the living room and downstairs kids bedroom - just an inconvenience.

Overall everything was good. Only issues were the hot tub having some biofilm floating that we could not rid of and it stopped getting hot after the second day. We had it set to 103 and when we tried to get in it was only 87 and would not increase. The other issue was the grill outside was covered in mold and unusable.

Great house in a really nice location. Well maintained and in an excellent condition and furnished with everything needed to have a really nice vacation. The location was perfect for our trip, we visited a bunch of the twilight sites. We had a great time. Thank you for having us

We enjoyed spending our holiday in this home! Plenty of room for all of us! Easy and prompt communication with the owners/host. Would recommend it!

The place was clean. However the trash bins outside were not dumped previously so the smell was horid and when we were leaving it was hard to put out our trash in the already overflowing trash bins. The WIFI was not strong enough to support the amount of devices we had. The kitchen was big enough for us to have meals together and more than enough space for all of us to sleep comfortably.

Good location to get around Portland. There was plenty of space for 11 of us.

My husband rented a car. My adult children used Uber and were happy doing there touring by this method. Everyone loved Portland.
