Stunning! But beware road safety

Stunning, magical views of the water & tall rocky hills. During our stay, there was a quiet, peaceful vibe.. There were family-friendly activities on the grounds, like swings, room to kick a ball, as well as sweet, charming decorative features scattered around. We enjoys exploring & having a play with the friendly doggy šverco. The hosts were very warm & friendly. We shared good conversation & drinks. Wonderful people.

I must caution everyone to be extra safe on the road. This applies to ALL the properties in this cluster, as they share a driveway. This driveway is downsloped, single-laned & angled as an impossible sharp right turn that is actually so paralleled to the highway that's its really a u-turn. The highway is curved in this area so you have cars coming fast around blinds curve. If you're coming from west towards east, as we were, know that IT IS NOT SAFE TO TURN LEFT FROM THE HIGHWAY INTO THE DRIVEWAY. Google maps navigation directed us to do this, & after taking the risky turn, we thank God we still have our lives. What a mistake that was. Illegal, incorrect. But sadly people are doing this dangerous turn often enough that Google has come to think it's ok. There is no safe turn if you're coming from the west. You MUST drive 8km to a roundabout & back so you can enter with a right turn. But it's not a simple right turn. The correct way to enter the property according to the hosts (& the only way which also make sense to me & seems legal) is to use the landing/rest zone directly in front of the driveway entrance. Turn off the highway onto that zone, then do a tight 3-point turn so that you are faced the driveway front on, & able to drive down. Do not reverse in the driveway from the landing zone because it's steep down & other cars could be coming up. So if you're considering any house within this cluster, beware the danger, have a look on Google streetview, plan in advance & stay safe. It's such a stunning location though, so do the right thing & is worth it.

Beautiful area, and the cottage is really cosy. Would like to spend a full week here in the spring.

Great location by the river. I can imagine the total nirvana in summer. However, now when it is cold and snowy - we were just sorry that we couldn't use veranda (with a great view to river). Living room is not as pleasant as veranda :) Sleeping room is big and nice. There is also a heater, so when it is cold we get warm room very quickly. The nature surrounding is magnificent. We liked the walk on the opposite bank of Zapadna Morava river - through the canyon and through the tunnels with a view to these cottages.

Bathroom is small and there is water everywhere after taking the shower. Regulating the water temperature is a challenge :) There is not much place for storing the things in the bathroom and living room.

The location is very nice, just by the river. The house has everything you might need. The host was very helpful and check-out time is super convenient.

It's really hard to find this place without exact coordinates. The directions on booking.com are wrong. Also, 2 single beds are for the kids, they are a bit small for adults.

Great place surounded by nature, close to the river, wonderfull view. Hosts were ready to help in any way. Apartment was equiped with everything that can be needed, clean and nice. For sure we will repeat this place as soon as possible.

Location could not be better, hosts are kind and helpful, and flexible. Gorgeous little house in gorgeous location.

Pillows a little umconfy and missing curtains in some places, but host said they were getting this organised.

When you look where to stay in Ovcar Banja there is nothing better then comfy house surrounded with spotless nature, Morava river at 10-15 meters and canyon between Kablar and Ovcar hills. Beside the property and all details about facility the friendly hosts like Zoran and Tanja left the most positive impression. Always there to help and make you feel like you came to one of your best friends. Highly recommended and can't wait for next stay

Vraticemo se opet!

Vikendica je na prelepom mestu, jako je udobna i ima sve sto je potrebno za odmor. Na kraju mi je bilo zao sto smo dosli samo na jednu noc.. Vlasnica je umetnica i svuda su prava mala umetnicka dela, oslikano drvece i prava mala oaza lepote
