Cottage in Galicia
Reasons to book
About this cottage rental
It has now been restored to offer all the comforts we’ve come to expect, yet without losing the essence of the stone and wood found in a typical Galician country house, complete with its lareira (fireplace), stone granary (horreo), and a corral fully enclosed by a stone wall.
The house features a spacious living-dining room, which also doubles as a fully equipped kitchen. On the same floor, you’ll find a single bedroom and a full bathroom with a washing machine. Although the second floor is accessible via the interior staircase, you can also reach it from the outside, where you’ll find two double bedrooms and another bathroom with a shower.
Here, you can enjoy peace and quiet and beautiful views from the wooden porch; adding a barbecue would be the perfect finishing touch.
If you’d rather head out, nearby you can enjoy the beaches of Os Muiños or Lourido, where developers recognized the area’s potential and recently built a Parador hotel.
For a walk, we recommend the final stage of the Camino de Santiago, which takes us to Fisterra, passing through the heart of the Costa da Morte and offering a unique and wild landscape that has swallowed so many ships.
Amenities at Casa dos Pobres, near the beaches in the heart of the Costa da Morte
