INCREDIBLE LOCATION NEXT DOOR TO HEAVENLY SUNRISE & HEAVENLY SUNSET AND TWO HOUSES EAST OF ROMAR HOUSE AT BEACHSIDE. You can rent Romar House at Beachside, Heavenly Sunrise, Heavenly Sunset and Halekaii for a total of 22 bedrooms all close beside each other. This would be perfect for large groups and could sleep up to 65 total in beds.

In fact, it has one of the largest private pools for a single-family, Gulf-front home rental home in Orange Beach—and you don’t have to share it with anyone else!
You private pool is not the only impressive body of water at Halekai, though. Watch the Gulf waves from one of two sprawling balconies… or ascend the lighthouse-like cupola for a 360-degree view, including a captain’s vantage point for the brilliant blue Gulf.
Plus, the location of Halekai II can’t be beat. You’re just minutes to Perdido Key, FL and Gulf Shores, AL—and all the grocery stores, shops, restaurants and other activities to choose from in both beach towns! When you head back to your rental, there’s plenty of parking for multiple vehicles at the end of a deep lot, set far back from the road for privacy.

The Living Spaces
The main-floor living area features a plush, sectional sofa and armchair in front of a flat-screen TV. In the heat of the day, relax in the cool blast of the A/C and read a good book (or sneak an afternoon nap). Adjacent, a dining table seats 6-8—a great spot for both family feasts and boardgame nights. Glass doors open out onto the deck, so you can easily step out for some sun and Gulf views! The second living area, located upstairs, features two futons, an armchair, a dining table for 4, and a mini-fridge you can stock with your favorite cold drinks.
Kitchen Amenities
A fully equipped and stocked kitchen is ready to help when the crew gets hungry. Stock the double-sided fridge with ingredients from one of the nearby grocery stores, and make use of the appliances, large and small (including stove, dishwasher, Keurig, blender and toaster). There is plenty of counter space for multiple chefs to work together on dinner, including a breakfast bar with two barstools.

The host was excellent. We received plenty of information about the area and even a recommendation for a wonderful photographer who took our family photos on the beach. We arrived a bit early into Orange Beach and the host was able to accommodate an early check in.

Loved the privacy. The home was cozy. A lot of room for everyone. It’s an older home needs a little work. But I would stay again. We had a great time. I will say the only things that I will say is the pool needs a new liner and a little TLC. Paul was fast to respond if there was a problem. I think he is great.

So many comments I’d like to make about our stay at this Halekai VRBO. First, this was our first whole family trip that we planned together. Although this VRBO was more money than we wanted to spend, the listing appeared to be the perfect place. It was not. First the good….Good location. The place was a good size for our family of 9, but it was still pretty tight. The bathrooms and showers appeared to be clean. But the rest not so great. So much dirt on floors and under furniture, the fans were filthy and black, and the outside area and decks around the house were unkept, not swept off before our arrival, and overgrown. There was an old rug/carpet thrown out under the steps…. Just gave the whole place a dirty feel. The kitchen/cupboards were a disaster…. Just thrown up…. We struggled to open and use them. Three roaches found in the house as well as ants located in kitchen and then found later in upstairs bathroom. Although Greg was very quick to respond, and the person that came to spray were very respectful etc, nobody wants somebody to come and spray in your place while you’re staying there. Finally the pool…This was a huge disappointment…. Although there was great shade and we used it almost every late afternoon there was no skimmer to clear all the dead bugs and crabs out of the pool, the back of the steps were black, and the holes everywhere on the liner.
Final thoughts, from our prospective this rental was not worth the rental price we paid.
