Gather & Relax at Whispering Pines Cabin!

We had a great time! We were there for my son’s wedding weekend. The view for morning coffee from the porch was beautiful! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and ping pong. We grilled out the first night and ate on the porch! We had a cabin full of people, but it never seemed crowded. Plenty of room! I loved the way all the cabinets were labeled. It made it much easier to find what I was looking for.One morning, we found two of the three garbage cans had been turned over.I suspect it was a bear, because two bags had been drug into the woods.The can left standing had a bungee cord on it. I don’t know if they all had one at some point. We really hoped to see a bear but didn’t. We saw many squirrels and heard many birds. It was so peaceful. My granddaughter enjoyed the water guns she found in the game closet. It was her first experience with a water gun and the first roasting of marshmallows. Such a memorable trip.

The home is clean and inviting. Although our group was attending events mostly off-property, everyone commented that they would like to spend more time at the house. Every detail has been well planned and prepped. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Whispering Pines and would absolutely come back. The cabin was perfect for a family trip, with plenty of space and great amenities that kept both kids and adults happy. It felt thoughtfully set up for guests, with lots of extra touches and amenities. It was incredibly well organized: everything in the kitchen was clearly labeled, which made cooking and settling in so easy. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The property itself is beautiful, and we especially appreciated the large supply of firewood for the fire pit.One clarifying note for future guests: the fire pit is a bit farther from the house than it appears in photos. It’s still very private and not a long walk at all, just not directly steps from the door.Overall, this was a fantastic stay and one of our favorite rentals. We’d highly recommend it and hope to come back!

Excellent! The reviews are accurate. The host is either in the hospitality business or has been renting for quite some time because everything has been well thought out & provided for. Between the homey touch of holiday decor, the cleanliness, extra amenities like towels for the hot tub & a well stocked kitchen. Thanks for a great stay.
