About this house rental
Spectacular views of Casco Bay, a heated swimming pool (mid-May to September), an 8-person hot tub, and 170 feet of private coastline! Relax in luxury in a peaceful, natural setting just 10 minutes from downtown Portland, in coveted Falmouth Foreside.
Fully renovated in 2021.

GROUNDS
The house sits on 1.7 acres lined with enormous trees and adjacent to conservation land. The private coastline offers easy water access on idyllic, calm Mussel Cove. Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available for your use. (Water access is tide-dependent. We have a very large tide in southern Maine, and water sports access is available only at and surrounding the high tides, which occur twice a day.)
The heated pool (SUMMER ONLY) was renovated in 2022. New lounge chairs and Adirondacks are provided. The pool area also has a Solo Stove fire pit.
Enjoy a cookout with gorgeous water views. The new outdoor dining table seats 8. There is a gas grill, as well as an Argentine wood-burning grill (parrilla). Play croquet and corn hole on the expansive lawn.
HOUSE
The house was completely renovated in 2021 and is newly furnished. With 5 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, and around 5,500 square feet of living space on three levels, it sleeps 10. There is a sleeping space for two additional guests at an additional fee.
There are air conditioners in all bedrooms, the media room, and the main living/dining area.
Of the 5 bedrooms in the house, two bedrooms are en suite, including the spacious master with water views. A third queen bedroom has access to an adjacent private bathroom. The fourth and fifth bedrooms, a full and queen upstairs, share a bathroom. There is a sixth sleeping area with an adjacent bathroom in the walk-out basement (additional charges apply for more than ten guests). There are two separate offices.
The rest of the home provides beautiful common spaces to enjoy together. The luxury kitchen is fully outfitted and features an island with seating for 8, as well as a large butler pantry with a wine refrigerator. It is open to the dining area and two living areas, all together forming a light-filled great room with water views.
Upstairs is a large family and media room with a comfy sectional and an 85-inch smart TV equipped with Netflix, HBO, Apple TV+, Hulu, Disney+, and Paramount+ accounts (note: NO CABLE). It includes a well-stocked games closet and a large table for games, again with a water view.
There are three other TVs in the house that are equipped with the same services: two in bedrooms, and one in the basement.
The basement features a full-sized wet bar complete with a drink refrigerator, as well as a living area, and opens to the pool and hot tub area.
Pets are not allowed.

This house was beautiful and the hosts provided outstanding communication and support throughout our stay. The pool and hot tub areas are fantastic. The pool has a robot that you can use to totally clean the pool. We used it once during our stay and it cleaned everything off the sides and bottom. The house has access to the bay/ocean and we really had a lot of fun using the kayaks and paddle boards. We made some day trips to Portland, Ogunquit, Kennybunkport and Cape Elizabeth. So in addition to a house you never have to leave, there are many wonderful places to visit. Finally, there are many wonderful restaurants to try. Get the Fish Stew at Scales, it is to die for.

The house was perfect for our multigenerational family vacation. The location was great - quiet and close to Portland. The house was spectacular and the outdoor area was perfect for my family to run around. Check in and check out was so easy. We had an amazing stay!

Maine has special memories for our family, from the youngest generation to the oldest. Falmouth was a new Maine location for us … and we LOVED it. The town is great and close to Portland, Freeport, and Maine’s classic beaches. This house was perfect for our family. Our most ‘mature’ family was able to be on the two bedrooms on the main floor so they didn’t have to do extra stairs. The kids loved the media room, and for what its worth, the sound from their late night movie binges did not affect anyone else in the household.
The kitchen is beautiful and since many of us are avid cooks, the induction stove was a special treat. We made every dinner in-house while the kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub every night. The beds were all really comfortable with plenty of towels and extra linens available.
I really loved the layout of the house, especially the master bedroom. The views are beautiful and the location is so peaceful.
Lastly, Kyler - our local property contact, was amazing. There wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer, he knew the area really well, had extra life jackets, offered his beach chairs and pretty much anything else we needed that we asked for. He was always available for us and responded immediately. Overall, I highly recommend this home for multi-generational families and friends.
