About this apartment rental
Ideally located, State Street Secret is a charming one bedroom, one bath, ground level apartment and can comfortably accommodate up to two Lucky guests. Just off of Columbia Square, you’ll be a short walk to Savannah’s best dining, shopping, and nightlife venues. Guests won’t have to sacrifice a single comfort, convenience, or amenity at the generously sized apartment.
The living area has been renovated to have an open layout, allowing you to see through to the kitchen. You’ll have a two comfortable sofas to relax on while enjoying the flat screen TV in the fireplace. A half wall separates the living area from dining area, which has a spacious table with seating for six, and an extended granite countertop that connects to the adjacent kitchen. You’ll have plenty of counter space and everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal during your stay. In the back of the home is a breakfast nook where you can comfortably plan out your day.
Each night you’ll come back to a massive king-sized bed to relax and unplug in, with a luxurious ensuite bathroom and walk-in shower.
Just down the street is the Davenport House Museum. Completed circa 1820 by Isaiah Davenport and threatened with demolition in 1955, the home was saved by a group of community-spirited citizens, marking the beginning of Savannah’s historic preservation movement. A short walk to Broughton Street will put you on the path to the heart of Savannah’s shopping and dining, including local favorites; Leopold’s Ice Cream, The Pink House, and many more to name!

PERFECT!! This historic apartment was walking distance to everything but still far away enough for it to be quiet at night. The kitchen was very well equipped with all modern appliances, we made our breakfast every morning and then headed out exploring for the day. Very easy access to this apartment and the free parking space was a great bonus. The apartment was very clean and had plenty of fresh linens. Directly across the street is a beautiful square and every corner surrounding this property were gorgeous historical homes including the Davenport house, which I was able to take a home tour. Can't say enough positive things about this apartment and it's location.

The space was in a great location - so close to everything we wanted to visit. It was cozy and we loved being able to stop in for a mid-afternoon break from the heat. It was so clean, I loved the decor and the openness of the space.

This ground level apartment is within perfect walking distance from everything in historic Savannah. We didn’t move our car for the entire stay.We appreciated how well the kitchen was set up with all the necessary utensils, pans, and dishes.The bed was hard and could have used some additional foam to make it a bit softer. The couch was not comfortable as it was a futon bed, not really a couch. A rug on the living room floor would be nice to make the room a bit more homey.Despite being right on the street, the apartment was quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place based on location.

We were unable to stay in the unit we reserved.. we received a phone call about 2 hours before we arrived stating the unit had flooded due to storms. We were told they only had one other unit available to offer us. We took since we were almost there. The unit was nice but further away from our focal destination.. it also didn’t have parking which was important to us due to my having knee replacement surgery recently.. we had to on street park wherever we could find one and pay. We asked for compensation but we were refused. The unit was a beautiful older home basement apartment but apparently had wood floors above us that people were walking around a lot late at night..it was graduation week for SCAD so I know our options were limited. I know weather issues are unavoidable and graduation created its own issues but it was disappointing.
