About this house rental
This family-friendly, luxury home easily accommodates 2 to 3 families. This home in the Ocean Beach Surf Club I Community, is the perfect family get away spot. Located one block from your private beach, this house and area includes excellent restaurants, local shopping, close to Point Pleasant & Seaside Boardwalks, Central Air, Heat and a Washer and Dryer. Private deck with retractable awning.
There are 4 bedrooms. This home sleeps 12 comfortably.
- 1st bedroom / First Floor / 1 queen bed, and an ensuite full bathroom
- 2nd bedroom / Second Floor / 2 twin beds
- 3rd bedroom / Second Floor / 1 queen bed
- 4th bedroom / Second Floor / 2 double beds and 1 futon (SmartTV)
- Three full bathrooms: 1st floor has two full baths with standing showers, 2nd floor has one full bath with standing shower.
- Central air and heat
- Open-concept eating/living room
- Living room has a sofa set with a smart TV
- Full kitchen with fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher

-10 minute walk to the Bay Beach for amazing sunsets
- Just steps away from the boardwalk - great for walking/jogging/biking etc. As a guest of OBSC1, you will be provided with 8 beach badges, granting you access to the beach as well as OBSC1 social events and activities. If your group exceeds 8 people, you will need to purchase additional guest daily badges at the booth.
The pre-purchased badges will be under your name and can be picked up at the booth located at the center dune crossover (end of E Channel Way and Ocean Road). The rental fee is $195 per week is included in the rental price.

The place was great! My only complaint is we could not connect to WiFi and we had people who needed to work. (Thank god I wasn’t one of them!!).. lol.. No one got back to us. It’s in a great location, absolutely loved it. It will not disappoint.

The house is within a block of ice cream, seafood, bakery and liquor store--not to mention the beach! What more could you ask for! it is kind of close quarters with neighbors, but its the beach!
Can't get used to having to bring ALL the bedding/pillows but that's thanks to covid. Would help to list that you have a Keurig for coffee. house was clean and comfortable for 3 generations!!!

the first comment is that we are reasonable & realistic in our expectations of rentals that we've been staying at over the years and want this to serve as constructive feedback in the spirit of improving this rental for future stays.
The rear entrance door is misaligned and didn't latch or lock. This presented a concern about leaving valuables in the home during our stay. This was reported early in the week of our stay and never repaired.
We were disappointed with how poorly equipped the house was in terms of utensils, pots & pans as well as bowls and other kitchen necessities. We even went and purchased a coffee maker because the home only had a one-cup Keurig machine. We've been staying in Lavallette for over 12 years and we always do lots of cooking. We had to borrow items from other homes that family members and friends were renting. For a house that can accommodate so many people, this needs to be made more sufficient.
Cleanliness: Overall was "okay". Mattress pads are stained, the metal grate in the base on the kitchen sink was covered in slime & mildew, the vacuum cleaner doesn't work effectively, even after cleaning all filters. Mats in bathrooms were not clean. Comforters/blankets in several closets were rolled up in balls upon our arrival instead of neatly folded. More attention to detail with weekly cleaning is needed, especially for the price of the rental.
