'Traveler's Retreat' Studio w/ Patio & Yard!

Our stay in the Traveler’s Retreat studio was absolutely wonderful! In real life, this place looks EXACTLY like the advertising photos – better even! Beautifully decorated. The studio was spacious, the murphy bed comfortable, furnishings comfy, good water pressure in the shower, AC deliciously cool on those hot July days; even comfy terry robes! We had everything we could have needed for our weeklong stay. The hosts thought of everything, including toiletries, hairdryer, washer/dryer, even coffee pods for the Keurig. Great little kitchen with microwave, stove/oven and a great fridge. If I had one thing to nitpick (and it's minor), it would be to have lights available close to the bed that we could turn off at night without getting out of bed. We could see where lights above the headboard were, but it seemed they were not working or hooked up as we couldn’t find a switch to turn them on. However, the hosts did supply 2 little clip on reading lights on the bedside table. Very thoughtful. This is one of those rare accommodations where it seems the hosts went thru and carefully considered every little thing their guests might need to be comfortable and then made those things happen! We spent nearly every morning out on the deck enjoying our coffee and the morning/evening breezes and looking over the pretty back garden of the hosts. Be aware that the hosts live in the house right in front of the studio. However, they were very considerate of our space/privacy and rarely made an appearance. I did meet Jim briefly who wanted to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed (p.s.- Jim was very responsive to my email questions/requests prior to our vacation, which I greatly appreciated). The locale is somewhat rural with lots of green space, fields, and trees. Very peaceful. Yet we were only about 10 mins from a major grocery store, shopping and restaurants.

Was a beautifully made and decorated cottage. Super cozy and they thought of everything for guests to have a comfortable stay. Will definitely be staying there again when visiting my grandson!👍🏼👍🏼

Well the power did go out due to a winter storm so only thing I would have to complain about is that it wasn’t on a generator so couldn’t stay in it half the time we were there. The owners were super accommodating for us and put us in a warm room for the night is was our so that was amazing! 🙌🏼

Everything. The communication from 1st booked to the studio itself was nothing less than exceptional. There was nothing that wasn’t thought of by the owners. Lovely to read the history of the studio. Highly recommended. If back this way on a road trip in the future will for sure book again. 5/10 min drive to Wholefoods or Fred Myer supermarket. Quite location which made it even more special.
