Beds were comfy, it was quiet, and warm.
The front door would never open. We stood out there in frigid temps while he tried several times to make the code open the door! The middle support on the stair handrail was pulled loose from the wall. One leg on the kitchen chair was loose.

Disappointing, and lacking basic amenities
The only positive point was that they offered early check in and late check out, which I appreciated. However, the overall experience did not match the quality suggested by the listing.
The apartment has several issues that made the stay disappointing. There is no toaster, no stove and no washing machine. I understand these items are not listed, but they are very basic amenities for an apartment in this price range. I travel often and I am Genius level on Booking, so I have a good sense of what to expect. The scale does not work. The photos are misleading, something other guests have also pointed out. There is no blackout in the room. The bed sheets were torn and I have a photo as proof. The shared area was dirty after a party from the neighbors, which made the common space uncomfortable. There is a staircase to reach the apartment that makes access inconvenient.

Wonderful!
It was the perfect space for a family of 3. The location was wonderful being walking distance to the restaurants and stores on Walnut St. I used to live in Shadyside 20 years ago, so being back in the neighborhood brought back great memories.

SMELL A DOG HOUSE
The smell of the apartment was terrible, pet friendly don't mean that you have to see on a couch with dog hair. Very disappointed not what I expected. Very expensive for what is it.

Pricey, but lovely pet friendly accommodations in a hip neighborhood.
Coffee and drinks were nice. Keyless entry was good. Loved the decor. Neighborhood terrific.
Construction in alleyway behind home impacting parking. Pet friendly, but the open rail on the side was dangerous for my elderly little dogs (one is blind, the other has very weak rear legs). We had to use wall hangings as barriers.
