The location was wonderful , made it easy to reach Mayan ruins and cave activities. The property is a working farm so the road in is a little rough. It is necessary to walk past cows to reach the river and the orchard has a lot of birds.
We had some difficulty with internet but the owner was working on it.

Amazing stay and great value. The bucolic setting was really unique and our hosts were tremendously friendly and accommodating. Cabins were simple but comfortable. Not at all difficult to access San Ignacio/nearby sites; taxis are relatively cheap and plentiful (and we used the public bus - even cheaper!). We were able to walk back along the river from Xunatunich, amazing! Breakfast/dinner onsite was super convenient, if a little bit of a mixed bag; we definitely preferred the more traditional Belizean fare (rice and beans, tortillas, etc.) over the westernized pancakes and spaghetti. But coffee was always delicious and plentiful, and the common area fridge was always stocked with delicious cold Belikin beers. Would love to return some day!
No real issues. As other reviewers mention, expect natures sounds/birds/rooster in the morning - you're staying on a farm, in the forest, so this shouldn't be a surprise! The location is also a bit off the beaten path (or more accurately, further along the well-traveled highway); if you aren't using a rental car, this might be a little challenging but we were fine with a combination of taxis, the bus, and shuttle pickups for excursions.

I loved the location, the staff was friendly and excellent. The property itself was super beautiful and breakfast was good. Dominic was very friendly and I really enjoyed talking with him. all of the staff on the property was very kind and welcoming and overall I did like my stay.
My only gripe was that my room shared a wall with another room, and I heard absolutely everything they were doing. The first night they were laughing loudly for hours making it hard to sleep. Another day next morning I heard a different couple having sex at 5 AM waking me up, which is not pleasant for a relaxing vacation. I say this because I didn't get great sleep either night because of the noise. If you are in room 1 or 2 you will hear EVERYTHING going on in the next room. I had to turn on my TV to drown out some noise but that can only do so much. Other than this, my stay was excellent
