This hotel is everything you need if you don’t want to spend a lot of money on your stay. Old dated but clean. The stuff especially the receptionist was very kind and helpful.

The toilets are very old dated and the hairdryer was broken

It'd have been nice to have things like a kettle in the room or water bottle in the room.

Hotel Playa was very close to the harbour which is the focus of the town, The hotel was very clean and the room was very comfortable. the air conditioning worked well. The reception was attended all the time. I call the hotel a "nearly hotel" because it was nearly a great hotel. Little things let it down, for example, the breakfast room is a main feature and is a prominent picture in their showcasing of the hotel yet it is very underused. We had breakfast in it one day and we were the only people using it and there was little or no evidence to suggest that others had used it that morning. We met several reception attendants during our short stay, all were lovely, but one was slightly negative. However, I must stress that I found Hotel Playa to be very good indeed, especially for St Tropez. It is now my hotel of choice for that town. I noticed it on a previous visit and am not disappointed

The breakfast was a bit expensive but that's St. Tropez. Whilst I liked the breakfast my partner didn't. The coffee wasn't good and the croissants could have been a bit crisper.

Location of the hotel is fantastic. It is right in the centre of the town so you are getting exceptional value for your money. The staff are very friendly. Amenities/the room are a little dated but the location and experience of the hotel are perfect.

Excelent location. Staff was nice. And overall excellent value for money. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel but is an excellent option if you want to be in St Tropez center with everything walking distance.

Had a third floor room (3 out of 3) and doesn’t have elevator. Was a bit annoying with luggage as you have to carry it yourself.

Unfortunately the first night the smoking alarm started to ring at 4.30 am for about 10minutes, waking us up. We had very hard time going back to sleep we were scared because people were drunk and nobody explained us what was going on… at 6.15am the alarm rang again. Later that day the reception explained us it was due to drunk girls celebrating something.

Parking accomidations

Staff were pleasant.

car parking at marina not convenient with luggage. After walking from marina carpark, our room was on the 4th floor and NO elevator.

You could hear people in next room even talking , noice inside and out side road noisy
