Ute's Fachwerk

It was a great location for visiting both Celle and the Bergen-Belsen Memorial by car. There was good WIFI and TV to watch the World Cup football in the evening. I was able to park right in front of the house as it's a very quiet village location.

It would have been great to have laundry facilities. There didn't appear to be any AC or fan (and I was here during a heat wave so windows on tilt setting). I must say that I found my host to be 'interesting' - but maybe that was because I treated my stay like an impersonal hotel room and not a true B&B (where you're expected to engage actively with your host)? I was berated twice - once upon arrival for parking in her driveway (not on the grass verge) and then upon leaving for not seeking her out to bid my farewell (she stood on the road in front of my car and told me I was a strange bod).

Everything was clean and the room was good

Ute doesn't talk english so we had a lot of miscommunication and we kinda felt weirded out bc of it
