Lovely position, lovely room, lovely hostess

My wife & I booked this stay from 2nd June to 4th June - the Artemis Suite on the ground floor. Firstly, it’s absolutely perfectly located. You can see the windmills from the room, and Little Venice is right there next to it. There are loads of shops, bars, cafes - it’s in the best spot. The bus stop is less than a 5 min walk, and the new port where you can catch the sea bus to old port and the ferry station is a 5-6 min walk. Coming to the room itself, it’s quite cozy and small and while that worked for us given we only stayed for 2 nights and spent most of our time out, it may not work for someone looking for a longer stay in a spacious room. The room itself was clean, the owner was very sweet even though she didn’t run the reception for 24 hours. Most amenities were provided and of good quality. Overall, for a short stay in Mykonos, which is anyway an island centred around being out and about and partying late into the night, this was a great stay. For anyone who knows though, the bathroom had a jet spray to our pleasant surprise!!

Some amenities were definitely missing / imperfect. No electric kettle to be able to heat water; the freezer didn’t work perfectly. The shower had hot water but not very hot if you prefer that. The room itself is quite small - we found ourselves walking over each other at times especially with two suitcases as well in the room. Not the most spacious. All in all, for a short stay in Mykonos where the highlight is to step out and walk around, this works. I would’ve probably rated it higher if it was even slightly bigger and had an electric kettle given the price we paid. There was no laundry service either, but I think that’s normal for hotels on Greece islands.
