Storchennest Vacation Home, available starting in May 2023 for up to 7 guests!
This beautiful vacation home for 7 guests (100 square meters) is modern and comfortably furnished and is located on a quiet cul-de-sac right next to Lake Großer Wariner See. It’s about 500 meters to the lake and the free public beach. The non-smoking house features tile and laminate flooring, underfloor heating, and a wood-burning stove.
The spacious living-dining area with a lake view has everything you could want. A cozy sofa, a large satellite TV (40 inches) with DVD/CD/USB, a PlayStation with games, and a collection of books and games provide relaxation and entertainment. The bedroom on the first floor is furnished with a double bed (1.80 x 2 m). The first floor also features a beautiful shower room (with a walk-in shower) equipped with a heated towel rack and a hair dryer. A washing machine, clothes rack, and iron and ironing board are also provided. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with, for example, an oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee maker, Senseo, toaster, electric kettle, egg cooker, high-quality pots, tabletop grill, sandwich toaster, waffle maker, and a wide variety of other cooking and baking utensils.
One bedroom on the upper floor has 3 single beds and a lake view. The second upstairs bedroom also has a double bed (180 x 200 cm). Both rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs. All bedrooms are fitted with exterior roller shades and fly screens. High-quality mattresses and blankets, as well as adjustable slatted bed frames, ensure your comfort. Another shower room on the upper floor is a convenient addition.
Free Wi-Fi is available (on-site registration required). We cannot guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed. A high chair and a travel crib are also available free of charge, and all main rooms are equipped with smoke detectors.
The patio, furnished with high-quality furniture, and the garden provide a relaxing place to enjoy the sun. There is a garden shed and a kettle grill. Two parking spaces are, of course, also included.
A 2- to 4-person canoe or Canadian canoe with personal flotation devices in various sizes is now available free of charge (use at your own risk; no liability or warranty).
Nearby (Hotel Wariner See) you’ll find a boat rental and an archery range. A children’s playground and a fishing club are also just a few minutes’ walk away. For your personal shopping needs, there is a large shopping center (Lidl, Norma, Edeka, drugstore, beverage store, pharmacy, bakery, etc.), which is about a 3-minute drive away.
Pets are not allowed.
The neighboring houses are called AlleenHuus, Ruth, and Seeblick Warin, should you need more space.
Warin is an ideal starting point for exploring the nearby towns and the Baltic Sea. Wismar, Schwerin, and the Baltic Sea with its beautiful island of Poel are all about 15–25 minutes away. It’s also just a 50-minute drive to the zoo in Rostock, Warnemünde, or the Baltic Sea resort of Kühlungsborn. Lübeck is about 1 hour away, and Hamburg is 1.5 hours away. There is a high ropes course in Neukloster (10 km) and a large recreational pool in Wismar.
You are welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be done during the booking process or at any time afterward for a fee.
