Ocean House Alentejo

Superb breakfast in lovely garden, amiable guest house close to restaurants and beaches yet tucked away with convenient parking.

Our room was small with double bed dominating and the walls paper thin so we were woken up by guests leaving early first morning of our two-night stay.

Central Porto Covo location with parking and restaurants and sea close by. THe breakfast is simply supwerb with gorgoeous local produce beatifully presented and served in delightful garden with views.

Our room was small and at the top of the stairs leading up from the main residence. The walls aren;' thick so could be noisy during the mornings with guests packing up and doors closing. The space between wall and bed was tiny...

tiny, tiny room -- way too small for 2 people, tiny bathroom (toilet is basically at the head of the bed); 2 people cannot walk in the room at the same time. City view means everybody who walks on the street can see you, unless the shades are completely closed. Towels are changed only after 6 days, but since there is no place to dry them, it's impossible to keep them fresh. Seems main concern is the cool look and vibe, not the comfort of guests.
