The beds were very comfortable, and the hotel staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. We also appreciated having complimentary coffee and water available 24/7 near the reception, which was a nice touch. The outdoor area was pleasant, although it could get quite noisy during warmer days due to a nearby amusement park and messy after other guests not cleaning up after themselves. The location worked very well for us, making it easy and quick to reach the places we wanted to visit. Breakfast was good and offered plenty of options for guests who eat meat. However, vegetarians and especially vegans may find the selection quite limited, with relatively few suitable choices available. Overall, there were several positive aspects to our stay, particularly the comfortable beds, helpful staff, convenient location, and good breakfast. However, these strengths did not fully outweigh the cleanliness and maintenance issues, especially given the price point and our expectations for a property in this category.

The stay was overall okay, but there were several issues that made it feel overpriced for the standard offered. Cleanliness could have been better, particularly in the bathroom. I do have fairly high standards, but the shower curtain was visibly mouldy and dirty at the bottom, which was quite unpleasant. This should really be cleaned or replaced more frequently between guests. There were also some maintenance issues. The shower head was not working properly: the overhead shower clearly needed cleaning, and the handheld shower was leaking. The air conditioning did not work during our stay, despite being one of the main reasons we chose this property over less expensive alternatives. To be fair, the staff did try to fix it, but it never functioned correctly. Fortunately, the weather was not too hot, otherwise the room would have been very uncomfortable. Another inconvenience was the bathroom radiator, which could not be turned on, so our towels never dried properly. In addition, our first-floor room was quite noisy at night, with guests dragging suitcases up and down the stairs and waking us up in the middle of the night. Overall, the experience was acceptable, but I do not feel it offered good value for money. Had the room been priced around 30% lower, I would likely have rated it much more highly. However, at a price point comparable to a 4-star hotel, I expected a significantly higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort.
