We had a lovely time here as a family group of 5.
The outdoor spaces consisting of pool area, gardens and dining terrace were spacious and lovely. It was a great space to relax in.
The pool was well maintained by a friendly groundsman who visited daily.
There were a couple of sweet little cats who visited us during meals :)
We wanted to clarify the layout for others, as we were not clear on this from the listing:
The accommodation consists of a one-bedroom pool house on the lower level near the pool, then a one-bedroom and two-bedroom trulli apartment at the upper level with the dining terrace. All beds were double/king - workable for 2 adults. There seemed to be some additional bedding options such as sofa beds.
All three units are self-contained, with their own little kitchens and bathrooms.
This let our group enjoy their own private spaces with their own amenities within one big secure complex with shared outdoor areas.
The location is great, as you are just minutes' drive from Alberobello, a tourists' favourite in the area. We preferred the less touristy spots like Locorotondo. We also very much recommend the longer drive over to Matera for the day - it was busy but stunning!
Immediately around the villa is olive groves, farmland and other villas - great for relaxed walks or runs, and with very little traffic noise.
Michele our local contact was very helpful when we had an issue - we had accidentally booked for a smaller group size and had to correct this last minute. He visited us to allow this, and fitted around our timings. He also permitted a late checkout given our very late bedtime after a wedding the night before - allowing us a bit more much needed sleep! :)
It is worth mentioning that although the outdoor spaces are generous, the indoors areas are very small, as is typical of most trulli you can stay in locally. If the weather was bad, there would not really be any suitable spaces for a large group to spend time together. Luckily this was not an issue for us.
It is also an old fashioned and rustic property, which means you shouldn't expect modern and high comfort furnishings. A few small points are that the beds are a bit less comfy, the fridge near the bed in our room was a little noisy at night, and there's a bit of a damp smell in the pool room (which truthfully draws the short straw compared with the other buildings).
All of these were minor points given the reasonable price of the villa and the very generous and gorgeous outdoor space. We would recommend staying!

Le calme de l'endroit et les alentours au milieu des oliviers, la beauté des maisons et tout ce qui se trouve autour des maisons. L'aménagement extérieur est magnifique et très bien entretenu.
La gentillesse du propriétaire.
L'espace intérieur est petit pour se réunir à 12 personnes pendant les vacances de la Toussaint où il fait trop frais pour dîner dehors.
L'équipement en ustensiles, couverts, grille-pain, plats et casseroles est plutôt insuffisant et assez usé. Il a été assez difficile de cuisiner.
Il aurait été plus agréable d'être accueilli en personne pour avoir des explications individualisées et en directe plutôt qu'avec des vidéos.

Trulli Bosca Selva is situated in beautiful countryside , within 10 mins drive to Alberobello. As you arrive to a gated driveway the stunning gardens are amazing with the swimming pool and seating areas. We booked the whole property ie there are 3 accommodation areas in the grounds by each other : 1) the 2 bedroom old trulli house
2) across the patio adjacent to this is a one bedroom studio apartment 3) a one bedroom studio apartment/ pool house . All have kitchenettes and air conditioning , all accommodation here worked so well for us with our family of 6 , ( grown up kids and friends). The gardens , patio pool are just lovely well looked after. The apartments are well equipped ( kitchen cooking equipment ) but dont expect modern appliances . It is old fashioned & rustic inside but the decor fits with the Trulli house , it's comfortable .
We loved our stay . Thank you to the family who own it.
Self check in was useful , good instructions by video sent to Whats app .
All was lovely: , just a couple of things ;
Some extra pillows would be nice , as one pillow was quite flat when sleeping .
A bottle opener in kitchen . We had to buy our own .
Lighting in Trulli house kitchen could do with bulb above cooker ( light didn't work ) and room not bright when cooking .
These were just minor issues . It didn't spoil our stay . We loved Trulli Bosca Selva .

The location was peaceful and surroundings beautiful, including the swimming pool, wooded areas and loungers. The pool was cleaned every day.
The person to greeted us (Michele) wasn't that helpful, with only brief responses to our messages when we asked about heating or where the coffee machine was. In fact, there was no coffee machine - only a percolator for use on the cooker hob. There was no coffee, tea or similar niceties, which was very disappointing given the cost and luxurious feel of the property.
