Location and views were fantastic

Vasilis was an excellent host! Always around to help us with anything & bringing us various treats throughout our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with lovely views over the water. It was an excellent location, very close to all the shops and restaurants, also within walking distance from the port.

Wow. From the moment our host, Vasillis, met us and showed us round the apartment, we were blown away. We missed the ferry we'd booked because the flight was delayed, so arrived about 3 hours late. We kept in touch with Vasillis by text and he met us at the port in the car and drove us to the studio which was spotless and really well kitted out. Vasillis had put water in the fridge along with a couple of beers - which was a lovely touch and made us immediately relax into the holiday. He had even located a channel on the TV where my boyfriend could watch the World Cup - England were playing that night plus it was his birthday, so I asked Vasillis where we'd be able to watch the match (even though it was at 4am Greek time!) - he had tuned in the football channel, which was really kind of our host. The little kitchen and bathroom were superb. Everything you could possibly need, the bedroom was clean and bed comfy - cute little balcony with drying line and pegs ... and the best view in the port! Other guests mention the steps, but honestly, it seems that steps feature EVERYWHERE in Gaios and on Paxos, and although they were sometimes challenging, it was nothing unusual for the area and during our trip staying in different locations, they were certainly not the steepest we encountered! Steps = great view! We stayed in three different parts of the island during our holiday and this was the best for host, facilities and helpfulness. Thank you Vasillis, we'll be back! Nothing could have been better

Accomodation close to Port, town, restaurants, market, bus terminal & ATMs. Great views from roof top terrace. Hospitable host.

6 flights of stairs up to hotel from water front with no direct access by car making luggage carrying difficult. Delux room with sea view was very small with little space for luggage. One suitcase needed to be in tiny kitchen. View was from bedroom window. Access to roof top terrace was via narrow, steep spiral staircase. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. We should have booked a room with a balcony or courtyard yard.
