About this house rental
The Oasis is a sweet little one bedroom guest house in a great location on the nicest street in Carlsbad. One bedroom with comfy queen bed and closet. Separate living area with gas fireplace, futon and a fold out chair-bed, dining area, and small but complete kitchen. Lush yard with covered patio/grassy area/ trampoline/bbq is shared with the main house.

Really nice backyard to spend an evening outside and a great neighborhood. Great interior to enjoy and unwind and relax for a few days. Only downside was the hot tub was out of service.

We made a trip to Guadalupe Mountain NP and Carlsbad Caverns and this was a 30-60 min drive from our destinations. The home is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed getting to relax in the space. Directions and descriptions were all very accurate. Thank you for the stay!

Clean with the amenities we needed. Appreciated the washer and dryer — we did one load part way through our trip. Liked having the separate bedroom and living room/dining area. We used the kitchenette for breakfast and to pack lunches. I used the hot tub once and it was nice. Kitchen could use some more silverware (there’s one table knife) and a couple more glass glasses.

There were beer cans and cigarettes in the courtyard. Overall, very messy outside.No instruction for hot tub.The outdoor couches were a mess. Back door of unit will not openFront door lock is hard to use (not adjusted)Doors are rotting in places.soap in shower leaks and makes read stain on floorNo salt/pepper or any spicesAC hard to use.Beer top on floor in roomTrash cans in driveway and fallen over.Not private with unit next door and its lights on all the time.
