It was a great place to stay for one night, right in the center of a lively town on the river. We were greeted with a glass of wine to enjoy when we arrived, and were served a very nice breakfast on the deck the next morning - so enjoyable!

The location was ok, unusual, only a few minutes walk to town
Got there at 4, reception shut and locked until 5. No parking, had to park on the road and pay.
Very noisy, being a barge there’s not the usual domestic plumbing, pumps kick in when the wc is flushed. Understandable but we could hear every toilet on the barge flushing.
Reception locked again when we returned early evening, so no drinks before bedtime. Breakfast not great for the cost. Quirky but could do better.
