About this house rental
This waterfront home on 70 feet of private Great Sacandaga Lake beach is the perfect place for your vacation. Across the street of this stunning property, you will find your own private beach area with a fire pit, boat dock, kayaks, paddle boards and outdoor lawn furniture. End your nights relaxing by the fire or start your day enjoying swimming, fishing, and kayaking.
**Dock, kayaks and paddleboard use are available (weather permitting) Mid May until after Mid September weekend.
During the winter months enjoy skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling throughout thousands of miles of endless trails.
The Lake front area across the street is very accessible and flat, which is hard to come by on The Great Sacandaga Lake. The property comes with a 80' docks that can be used by guest during their stay. Please inquire about boat sizes so we can ensure to accommodate your watercraft appropriately. The waterfront is sandy and has gradual grade into the water so it perfect for families with small children to enjoy.
This unit is a large 4-bedroom, 1-full bathroom home we call the South Shore Edgewater Chalet. (Sleeps 6 guest comfortably, up to 10 guest total with approval) Walk through the front door into a spacious 1st Floor living room, where you will find queen size pullout couch to accommodate larger groups. As you work your way through the first level, you will find a dining room table, fully loaded kitchen, and high top breakfast bar. As you walk up the stairs to the second level you will find a laundry room for guest to use through out their stay. If you work your way down the hallway there are 2 bedrooms with queens sized beds that lead to the second floor balcony with amazing lake views. As you continue down to the end of the hallway on the right side is a full bathroom. Directly across from the bathroom there is another set of stairs that leads to the 3rd level that include 2 additional bedrooms with both equipped with queens sized beds. The living room along with all the bedroom have televisions and Rokus that are set up with Hulu to enjoy your favorite shows after long day on the lake.
To access the living areas, you will need to be able to climb at least 1 flight of stairs. There is no access to the garage, but there is ample parking at the property in the driveway.
There is another VRBO house located on this property that may be rented out while you are staying here. We have separate patios at the house that are very secluded. Also, near the lake we have separate fire places, kayaks, and paddles boards for each individual house hold staying on the property to enjoy. We strive to keep the areas segregated so all guests have their own space and ensure interaction amongst guest is limited so everyone has privacy.
Extra Costs:
There is an extra guest fee of $25 per night after 6 guest.
This Property is pet friendly, and requires a pet fee $50 per stay to cover your four-legged guests.
This property is in the heart of Upstate New York with so many amazing attractions minutes away!!! Please review our guest book for recommendations to some of our favorite destinations with in minutes of the property.
35-minute drive to Saratoga Springs Horse Track and Casino. 40-minute drive to Saratoga Springs Performing Arts. 45-minute drive to Lake George and the Six Flags Great Escapes. There are numerous hiking trails to be explored all throughout the Adirondack Mountains. (Download All Trails App on Mobile Device) Spend the day walking the cute little villages of Northville and Broadalbin both only a short 15-minute drive. Endless restaurants, golf, shopping, and local festivals all 4 seasons of the year. There is boat and snowmobile rental within 1 mile at the Edinburgh Marina. 40-Minute drive to Gore Mountain Ski Resort. 30-Minute drive to West Mountain Ski Resort. In the winter months the lake freezes over and has some of Update New York’s best ice fishing!

We had a great time at the Edgewater Chalet. The place is cozy, very clean and well appointed. The folding wagon to cart things down to the beach was a nice touch.

The location is remote enough to really feel you're getting away, yet amenities & restaurants close enough. 30 minutes from Saratoga or Lake George for day adventures to the race track, park or Great Escape.

Nice quiet place across the street from the the great Sacandaga lake. Access to kayaks and paddle boards. 10 minutes to grocery store and some of the best sunsets I’ve seen in a long time. Would absolutely stay here again.

This property is gorgeous and so comfortable. We stayed for 6 nights in May over memorial day weekend with. My husband, myself, my parents, 2 teenage brothers, and 2 doggies all stayed here. The one bathroom was tricky sometimes but we made it work! The kayaks were super fun and the fire pit with wood readily available was great. The house has pretty much everything you can think of or need, even down to metal marshmellow sticks! Just bring yourselves, some food, a few drinks and enjoy! We can’t wait to come back!
