RETREAT WHISPERING FOREST SEJOUR,Roşia Montana

Locatie amplasata intr-un loc retras,in mijlocul naturii(atentie la gasirea locatiei cu gps-ul).Ar trebui o pancarta de informare(directie )la intersectia drumului pietruit sau pe traseul de urmat pana la locatie.Gazdele foarte volubile si simpatice au fost tot timpul la dispozitia noastra. Pentru cei ce vor sa experimenteze ,care se simt bine in mijlocul naturii ,care nu sunt interesati de confort sau sa incerce confortul din perioada dinainte de revolutie ,aici este locul ideal. Parerea noastra si a cuplului cu care ne-am intalnit acolo a fost ca in acea zona este o lupta pentru a gasi resursele necesare pentru un trai decent si le felicitam pe gazde pentru ca incearca sa traiasca altfel si fac tot posibilul sa-si schimbe modul de viata .

Nu vreau sa descriu intr-un mod rauvoitor confortul din camera sau cel general, sau sa dau indicatii cum sa fie,dar ar mai fi loc de ceva inbunatatiri in aceasta privinta.Bineinteles ca ar trebui investit foarte mult si resursele sunt destul de limitate ,dar incet, incet se pot face mai multe in acest sens.

Our stay with Georgiana and her mother was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip in Romania. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness that made us immediately feel at home. They greeted us with delicious local Ciorba and we also had the pleasure of tasting Georgiana’s mother’s amazing homemade jam, a wonderful and authentic local touch that we really appreciated. When we asked for recommendations for a short hike in the area, Georgiana went above and beyond and personally took us to an incredible viewpoint overlooking the entire region. The panoramic view of the mountains and villages was absolutely breathtaking and became one of the highlights of our journey. The room was very comfortable, warm, and perfectly prepared for our arrival with adequate heating. The location is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and perfect for anyone looking for a quiet and authentic rural Romanian experience. Georgiana and her mum are exceptional hosts who truly care about their guests. Their hospitality, generosity, and friendliness made our stay very special. We highly recommend staying here if you want to experience genuine Romanian hospitality, beautiful scenery, and a unique local atmosphere.

Quite frankly, nothing I can think of

Simona as a host is a wonderful person-willing to help and share. Made a great welcome - cheese, bread, lemonade. The atmosphere is amazing. It's totally chill-zone. Be prepared for a rural experience (in a possitive way). Stay there 2-4 nights to reset your head..

The road / navigation to the site might be tricky - Google/Waze try to get you there by a rough road (sharp stones etc). 4WD is not necessarry, but helpful. Follow the navigation by Booking, Google tries to get you to a different spot.

The property is located in a very quiet area, away from daily noise. Coming from a busy and noisy town, the silence felt unusual at first, but it turned out to be absolutely perfect! The host was more than sociable and kind, welcoming us with homemade ‘vișinată’ (a Romanian strong drink) and refreshing lemonade. I truly recommend this place with all my heart, and if I ever return to the area and need a place to stay overnight, I will certainly choose this one again!
