Park

Διαμείναμε στο Park, στους Αγίους Θεοδώρους, για λίγες ημέρες στις αρχές Οκτωβρίου και επιλέξαμε το διαμέρισμα δύο υπνοδωματίων. Πρόκειται για ένα ευρύχωρο κατάλυμα, στο κέντρο της κωμόπολης, σε ήσυχο όμως σημείο χωρίς τους ενοχλητικούς αστικούς ρύπους και διαθέτει ό,τι θα χρειαστεί ο επισκέπτης για μια βραχυχρόνια ή μακροχρόνια παραμονή, ακόμη και δυνητικές υπηρεσίες και αγαθά, όλα μελετημένα, φροντισμένα και τακτοποιημένα με σεβασμό και αγάπη για το φιλοξενούμενο. Είναι βέβαιο ότι το Park δεν υπόσχεται μόνο, αλλά παρέχει άνετη και ξεκούραστη, ευχάριστη και ασφαλή διαμονή. Το διαμέρισμα έχει αναλάβει διαχειριστική εταιρία (απρόσωπη, τυπική και ουδέτερη επικοινωνιακά), αλλά ο ίδιος Παύλος αναδείχτηκε σε εξαιρετικό οικοδεσπότη και έδωσε άλλη διάσταση στη φιλοξενία, πιο προσωπική και οικεία, πιο ζεστή και ανθρώπινη.

Very comfortable and cosy stay. The communication with the host (Ms Dora) was second to none. She met us at the property, handed the keys and show us all amenities, including on how to change solar powered hot water boiler on the roof to the electric one installed in the bathroom. Apartment itself is a little bit dated, but the cleanliness was exemplificatory and all kitchen equipment was in fully working condition. Ms Dora was very quick to respond in case when we were missing anything or any problems (one - missing hairdryer, two - providing an additional saucepan, three - repairing door handle went loose and could lock the main door). The beach is 10 min walk away with a very nice promenade, where one can find exquisite restaurants serving local food (our favourite one was Piperi). There are two very well equipped supermarkets (2.5 km away, 5 min car drive) - My Market and Galaxias as well as numerous small shops nearby. Just round a corner from the apartment there's a café (Babaco Coffee Go) open from 06:00 am but we have never used it as we were comfortably using a coffee machine at the apartment.

Like all Sicilian, south Italian and Greek houses, the apartment is very cool. It does work a treat during hot months, but we were unlucky that the weather changed to quite cold one during our stay, hence the coldness of the apartment was notable. Nevertheless the air con/heating units were capable of heating the apartment quickly. Neighbouring property dog can be a bit of a nuisance during the night, however we only had this problem on one occasion, other times the dog was quiet throughout the night.

It was a cozy little place, had a stocked mini kitchen, nice shower and was close to the beach. Pavlos was a great host!

Right next door is a construction site with a loud guard dog. He barked all day and all night. Couldn't sleep! Pavlos tried to help but there was nothing more he could do because it was his neighbor's property.
