About this house rental

King Bed Suite, Private Pool, Bright Kitchen, Spacious & Loads of Activities Nearby. Why go anywhere else? We are 5-10 minute drive to historic Brandywine Valley with open spaces, running trails & scenic views, antique shops & restaurants. Renowned museums such as Winterthur and Longwood Gardens are 15 minutes away. All Philadelphia has to offer is at your fingertips.

This is a 3200 Sq. Ft. Ranch Style Home with In-Law quarters has 2 Kitchens, 4 BR, DR, 2 LR, and 2 Full Bathrooms on a private 1.5 acre lot. Remodeled. All linens included.

Main home provides guests with a Bright Spacious Kitchen with all the cooking essentials attached to the DR. Family room boasts a 70" flat smart TV with 3 sofas, followed by 3 Bedrooms and Large Bathroom with Soaking Tub and over-sized separate shower.

Bed sizes are 1 King and 3 Queen Beds in the main portion of the home. The In-Law Quarters hosts a HUGE King Bed Suite with attached Full Bath.

The In-Law Quarters houses another FR with Large smart TV, Full Kitchen, Washer and Dryer, Seating Area, Large BR with attached Full Bathroom.

Outdoors you will find an amazing cornfield spanning over a hill portraying unbelievable Sunsets with a Private Swimming Pool, Diving Board and Pool House.
The yard boasts raspberry bushes with sweet fruit ready to be picked during season, a lovers swing hanging from 2 trees and beautiful views of the countryside.

The inside of the house was clean - the dishwasher had dishes in it and the water was backed up in the dishwasher and it smelled bad. Once we ran the dishwasher, it worked ok but left tidbits of ick on the dishes that we then had to hand wash. The dishwasher should probably be deep cleaned. The dryer had towels in it that we put back in when we left. The lights in the inlaw suite kitchen didn’t work, but we didn’t use that kitchen so it wasn’t a big deal. There was no space to put all of our food that we brought - but on the flip side the kitchen was stocked extremely well with household kitchen utensils and appliances and pots and pans! But it would have been nice to have storage area for our food. We had a difficult time locking the in-laws suite porch door also. The fire alarm in the main house hallway was not attached. The outside deck area/bar area/outside children’s toys were very dirty and the deck furniture was a hot mess. We had to arrange it to use it. There was a hose outside so we used that to spray the dirt/spiders/webs off the children’s toys. We didn’t know we had to supply toilet paper and paper towels beyond the partial rolls supplied. Some of the receptacles didn’t work throughout the house. The air conditioner in the inlaw suite blew out debris on the end table and light two nights before checkout. The pool was AMAZING and sparkling clean! Overall we enjoyed our stay at the house. The host was amazing and stayed in communication.

We had the best time at this house! At the end of the vacation we asked the kids if they would want to come back and they all gave a resounding YES! There were plenty of tv’s that all worked so there was no fighting over what to watch, and the pool was so much fun! They had a ball and we adults did too. Thank you Jeneene for providing a wonderful environment for families to come together. It was a memorable experience and we hope to come back!

This property was beautiful!! My family and I had a wonderful time relaxing by the pool and enjoying our time together. The host was very kind and even checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. I would gladly recommend this home for a vacation get away.
