Great location in a small, quiet village with a nicely built chalet well-maintained grounds and easy access to walks around the area. Good birdwatching with nesting storks, common cranes in the meadows and black woodpeckers in the woods. Facilities good for self catering. Early season booking meant we were there alone.

Wspaniałe miejsce, piękne, bardzo schludne. Pobyt absolutnie bezproblemowy i udany.

Siedlisko Sobibór is situated in a rural setting with wooden houses in the village of Sobibór, only a couple of kilometers from the Ukrainian boarder. The hostess, Eva, is very helpful. I could use her telephone when my laptop was broken and I don't have a cellphone myself. Breakfast and dinner are very good and the environment is very quiet. The museum of the death camp is about one hour walking through some beautiful woods. It is also about an hour to the Trójstyk Granic, where Poland, Belarus and Ukraine come together.

There is no tv in the room. Normally I wouldn't mind at all, but because of my broken laptop I was three days without any news. "Isn't that very quiet?' the hostess Eva said... She was right!
