I loved how quiet, simple, and close to nature the property felt. The owner and staff were very accommodating and friendly, the grounds were well-maintained and perfect for setting up a tent to watch the stars at night, and they served a good free breakfast too.

· Sally and her husband Alsie are the most beautiful people. There is no request that they are not happy to help with. They are very genuine people and you can tell their intentions are pure. In a short 24 hours they have shown me multiple kindnesses. I booked last minute and was worried I’d arrive too late. I messaged the property and Sally responded almost immediately letting me know that I could come anytime and provided excellent logistical info for my arrival on the bus. As soon as I got here I knew I would be happy but when I woke up in the morning to see the beautiful ocean and beach I was ecstatic. I stayed in the little one bed cabin (number 15) DIRECTLY on the beach. The close sound of the waves crashing was the best sleeping pill. When I sit on my porch, there’s always a wonderful breeze. The beach has waves but is still very swimmable and the beach sand is very fine. I had a delicious burger for lunch at the onsite restaurant. The prices are very fair. They also provide free purified water in two locations on the property. For dinner, I walked 10 minutes to the main road (Alsie insisted I take his flashlight) where there are 3 immediate options for food along the way, as well as 4-5 sari sari stores. This place is a balm for your soul. The grounds are beautiful and you can tell a lot of love went into this place. Very tasteful details and decorating. It’s so green with plants everywhere, and lots of open space and quiet. There are resorts on the other side of the area but there’s very little right here which is lovely, yet it is still close to options. Lots of things to do in the area as well. It’s off the beaten track but well worth exploring. There is a community here and it feels very safe. This is honestly my favourite spot in my month of travelling the Philippines so far. Due to a combination of the peaceful, relaxed location, the care of the hosts and the little cabin I rented.
The only thing I can think of is that it would be nice to have a few loungers on the beach to read and take in the ocean. But I’ve been using my little porch that has a seating area.

My husband and I stayed at Camp Soteria for 5 nights. It was absolutely perfect! Our little house was directly in the beach. Listening to the waves at night was so peaceful. We had a huge beach all to ourselves. The beach is wide and perfect for long walks. Sally was an amazing host. She was full of recommendations and helped us with anything we might need.

The staff and management were great. Very kind and accomodating.
Paid 26k for 3 night stay with family of 4 but didnt meet the expected comfort for the price paid. Room has no TV, no wifi, no telephone, no drawer for cloths, luggages and no refrigirator. Furthermore shower have no heater.
When we arrived we were asked if we are going to use appliances and told to pay additional 250pesos per day if we use a rice cooker.
Our room wasnt cleaned ,used towels not changed during our 3 days stay.
The menu in the restaurant are mostly not available too.
