Apartamento espacioso y bien cuidado, muy bien situado en el centro de Logroño. Fácil contacto con los anfitriones.

Fuimos en verano y las temperaturas eran bastante elevadas, cuenta con pingüinos en algunas habitaciones pero no es muy cómodo para dormir si hace calor

The most amazing things about the Plaza Mercado were the spectacular location and the attentive and helpful host, Daniel. The apartment is right on the square that is the center of the Old Quarter, right next to the cathedral in the photos. Just a few steps from the two world-famous tapas streets, an indoor market with fresh produce, meats and cheeses, a n and all the coffee and ice cream a weary traveler needs. A short walk takes you to the Rio Ebro, beautiful parks, the Stone Bridge etc. Our group was utterly charmed by the whole experience of being in that part of the city. Daniel was very helpful and responsive to all my questions, had great recommendations, and seemed really chill and personable. We had an issue with one of the blinds breaking in a west-reaching room, and it was fixed the next morning. We even got to meet Daniel’s delightful dad! The building was clean and felt secure, the combo of electronic lock app and physical keys worked well, and the elevator was clean and reliable. In the apartment, the front bedrooms have effective ceiling fans and the back bedrooms had portable air conditioning units, a necessity during days of orange-level heat warnings. The front bedrooms were pleasantly decorated, the back ones, intended more for kids, a bit more utilitarian but comfortable enough. The main bathroom was spacious and pleasant, the smaller bathroom a bit cramped, but for a group of six adults, it was fine. The kitchen was functional, and the washing machine worked great. Really helpful since we’d been in the road for ten days. The living room was smallish for our size group, but nice. Fantastic value for the price. Would recommend for larger groups, especially during times when it’s not 40°C. But even in the extreme heat, we managed to stay comfortable by rotating through the rooms with AC for siestas. 😀

Nothing important! During very hot weather a better fan for the living room would be helpful, as it was too hot for us to gather there as a group sometimes. Also it’s important to note that you can’t bring a vehicle into the Old Quarter at all between 7 am- midnight. Not even to unload your baggage. That was inconvenient for two of our group who had really big, heavy suitcases. The nearest free parking is a ten minute walk — longer with heavy suitcases! But there is paid parking an easy five minute walk away at Espolón.
