The property has an amazing outlook , especially sunsets. Yes the access is via steps but the village of Filoti is great. Locals are very hospitable including the two donkeys on the path leading to the house. Taverns, cafes and all you need are a stroll away. A car is recommended to get to all the spectacular beaches all recommended by our host. We loved our stay and would gladly return.
In the peak of summer it got really hot downstairs in the living area, a nice strong fan would do the trick. The rooms are air conditioned so sleeping is fine.

This place is in the beautiful little mountain town of Filoti. It had everything you need, and shops are just a short and scenic walk away.
We experienced traditional Greek small town life and enjoyed spectacular sunsets and mountain views here.
Don't forget to visit the church and a little café called Owl's Nest nearby, wonderful experience.
If you want a more traditional feel with a gorgeous mountain backdrop, this is the place.
The unit is quite high up against the mountain and not completely accessible by car. The parking lot is quite a few steps away, so you will need to pack light or at least leave your big bags in the car. It was absolutely worth the walk though.
